Prime Video has released the trailer for the highly anticipated series “Ride or Die,” featuring Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham. This new show uniquely combines the actors’ signature comedic flair with intense spy-thriller action.
The series follows best friends Debbie Claybourne (Spencer) and Judith Burton (Waddingham), who believe they know everything about each other—until Judith’s secret life as an international assassin is revealed. When a mysterious figure from Judith’s past reemerges and a deadly hit goes awry, both women find themselves on the run. Their journey takes them across Europe as they evade law enforcement, skilled assassins, and dangerous criminals in a high-stakes race against time.
In addition to Spencer and Waddingham, the cast includes Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, Jacky Ido, Sylvia Hoeks, and Bill Nighy. The series is created by Tessa Coates, who also serves as an executive producer, alongside showrunner Matt Miller. Renowned filmmaker Peyton Reed is directing the series.
“Ride or Die” is a collaboration between Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Andy and Barbara Muschietti’s Double Dream, and Octavia Spencer’s Orit Entertainment. The executive producers include Coates, Miller, Reed, Spencer, Waddingham, the Muschietti duo, Irene Yeung, Brian Clisham, and Stephanie Kluft.
Fans can look forward to streaming “Ride or Die” on Prime Video starting July 15, 2026.
