Olivia Rodrigo offered fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at her latest music video, “Stupid Song.” The video features performances by several renowned dancers from the New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, including Tiler Peck, India Bradley—who in 2025 became the first Black female soloist in NYCB’s 77-year history—Grace Scheffel, Kayla Mak, Kennedy Targosz, Kloe Walker, Lauren Collett, and Rommie Tomasini.
When Tiler Peck, a principal dancer at the New York City Ballet, was brought on to choreograph the video, she made it a point to include only professional ballet dancers. Her goal was to “show ballet and show real dancers,” ensuring that the choreography would be authentic and something fellow dancers could be proud of. Peck also hopes that featuring ballet in a pop music video will help make the art form more accessible and increase its visibility among audiences who may not have the chance to see professional ballet live at companies like NYCB.
