Isabel May is slated to star in and serve as an executive producer for the upcoming romantic comedy “Love Love,” produced by Amazon MGM Studios. The film is written and directed by Joey Power, who will also direct the project. The production team includes Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum from RK Films, as well as Ari Lubet and Jonathan Berry from 3 Arts Entertainment. In addition to May, Power and Alyssa Altman will also take on executive producer roles.
The screenplay, crafted by Power and Daniel Sweren-Becker, centers around a struggling tennis prodigy who unexpectedly falls for a charismatic local ball boy during the US Open. Their unlikely romance could be the motivation she needs to reach the finals. Filming is scheduled to begin this fall in New York.
