The release of The Batman Part II has been pushed back to 2028, but director Matt Reeves offered fans a glimpse of what’s to come with a new teaser.
On Wednesday, Reeves shared a short video on social media showing Robert Pattinson dressed as the Caped Crusader. The clip is set to dramatic music and focuses on Batman’s back as rain falls around him. The Dark Knight gradually turns to face the camera amid flashing police lights in the background.
The teaser concludes with Batman’s intense stare, the film’s logo, and the new release date—February 18, 2028—delayed from the original October 1, 2027 schedule. During the premiere for The Drama, Pattinson also hinted at the sequel, telling Deadline, “The script is extraordinary. I think it’s going to be a really, really special movie and very, very different.” Fans are eager to see how this next chapter in Batman’s story will unfold.
