Although HBO Max’s Euphoria officially wrapped with its third season, the story behind the series isn’t quite over yet. HBO is giving the acclaimed drama one final release — not a continuation of the narrative, but a retrospective special that looks back at the production that began in 2019, endured an unusually long hiatus between seasons, spawned two standalone episodes, and helped transform Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer into global stars.
The special, Euphoria: A Look Back, premieres on HBO Max on July 24. Its newly released trailer revisits early cast interviews, including a much younger Elordi and the late Angus Cloud introducing themselves for the first time. Schafer reflects on how they “were literal babies” when the journey began, while archival footage captures Zendaya’s original press appearances, behind-the-scenes celebrations, emotional final days on set, and candid cast reflections recorded before anyone could have predicted the enormous cultural impact Euphoria would go on to have.
