Prime Video has announced the cast for its upcoming romantic drama series “Rose Hill,” based on the best-selling book series by Elsie Silver. The series will feature Jake Weary, known for “The Waterfront” and “Animal Kingdom,” alongside Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway (“Under the Banner of Heaven”), and Sadie Dickerson (“Just In Time”).
“Rose Hill” centers on the lives of close-knit friends and neighbors in a rugged mountain town. Jake Weary will portray West Belmont, a rancher struggling with commitment issues. Sean O’Pry will play Ford Grant, a brooding record label owner renowned as Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who has long harbored feelings for West’s sister, Rose, played by Hannah Galway. The story heats up with the arrival of country-pop star Skylar Stone, portrayed by Sadie Dickerson, adding romance and tension to the small-town setting.
Heidi Cole McAdams will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Renowned director Marc Webb is attached to direct the pilot and second episode, also serving as an executive producer. Elsie Silver, along with producers Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman of Temple Hill, will also produce, with Annika Patton of Temple Hill acting as co-executive producer.
The series promises a compelling mix of romance, family dynamics, and small-town charm, with a talented cast and crew bringing Elsie Silver’s beloved stories to life.
