More than two decades after inviting viewers into her personal life on Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, Jessica Simpson is once again opening the door for cameras to capture her story.
Since the reality series premiered, Simpson has built a remarkable career spanning music, fashion, business, and writing. She has sold more than 20 million records worldwide, created one of the most successful celebrity licensing brands in history, and released the bestselling memoir Open Book.
After stepping away from original music for 15 years, Simpson made her return to recording and performing with her two Nashville Canyon EPs in 2025. Now, she is preparing to revisit her life and career on screen in a new feature-length documentary.
The film is directed by BAFTA nominee Joe Pearlman and is set to premiere on Netflix in 2027.
