Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for Call My Agent! The Movie, bringing back the beloved characters from the hit French series for a new feature-length adventure. The film continues Andréa’s story six years after the show’s fourth season, with another season also reportedly in development. The movie was first announced last year and is set to feature a cameo from Hollywood star George Clooney.
Set five years after the ASK Agency shut down, the film follows Camille Cottin’s Andréa as she takes on a new challenge: becoming a film director. Her plans quickly unravel when the lead actor of her directorial debut quits just days before production is scheduled to begin.
Determined to save the project, Andréa turns to her former colleague Noémie, played by Laure Calamy, who has since moved into reality television production. Together, they attempt to get the film back on track, but their very different approaches quickly create tension.
The trailer offers a glimpse at the chaos that follows. Andréa and Noémie scramble to find a replacement star while dealing with agents, difficult actors, production problems, and plenty of behind-the-scenes drama. Their disagreements only add to the pressure as they race to keep Andréa’s first film from falling apart.
The returning cast includes Camille Cottin, Laure Calamy, Thibault de Montalembert, Grégory Montel, Nicolas Maury, Liliane Rovère, and Laurent Lafitte. Ophélia Kolb and Fanny Sidney are also returning to reprise their respective roles from the series.
New additions to the cast include Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, and Anne Marivin. Although George Clooney has been confirmed to appear in the movie, he is notably absent from the newly released trailer.
Call My Agent! The Movie is directed by Emilie Noblet, who also helmed Bis Repetita, Loulou, and episodes of television series including HP and Parlement. The screenplay comes from original series creator Fanny Herrero and Lison Daniel.
With Andréa stepping behind the camera and a new production crisis threatening to derail her ambitions, Call My Agent! The Movie looks set to bring the series’ signature mix of comedy, celebrity cameos, and workplace chaos to the big screen.
