A seemingly perfect new home quickly turns into a blood-soaked nightmare in the first trailer for The Teenage Vampire, an upcoming horror movie that brings ancient vampires, mysterious connections and a very dangerous house party together.
The film follows 18-year-old Sandra, a young woman who moves into a guest house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills hoping for a fresh start filled with parties and romance. However, her new surroundings aren’t quite what they appear to be.
Sandra soon discovers that her landlords, Viktor and Isabelle, are actually ancient vampires living in the main house. Things take a terrifying turn when Sandra throws a summer party and her friends become targets for the bloodthirsty couple.
The newly released trailer gives audiences a glimpse at the carnage to come, opening with a violent vampire attack before introducing Sandra and her unsettling new home. Although Viktor initially appears welcoming, his strange behaviour — including his absence during daylight hours — begins to raise questions.
As Sandra becomes increasingly suspicious of her landlords, the situation takes an even stranger turn. The trailer suggests she may have a much deeper connection to Viktor than she initially realises.
Old photographs appear to show a woman who looks remarkably similar to Sandra, hinting at a mysterious history that could connect the teenager to the vampire family.
Adding another genre connection to the project is Star Trek veteran Spice Williams-Crosby, who joins a cast led by Jazlyn Nicolette Sward as Sandra and James Chalke as Viktor.
Frank Mora directs The Teenage Vampire and co-wrote the screenplay with Asif Akbar. Grindstone Entertainment is behind the production, with Lionsgate handling distribution.
With its Hollywood Hills setting, supernatural mystery and bloody vampire mythology, the trailer sets up a horror story where Sandra’s dream home becomes anything but a safe place to live.
The Teenage Vampire is scheduled to arrive digitally and on video October 27, 2026.
