Neil Patrick Harris is stepping into chilling villain territory in the official trailer for The Last Temptation of Becky, the third instalment in the action-thriller franchise that began with 2020’s Becky.
Harris stars as Wilhelm Reuss, a dangerous neo-Nazi mastermind determined to ignite a new era of extremist rule by establishing the Fourth Reich. Standing in his way is Lulu Wilson’s Becky Hooper, who returns as the ruthless antihero ready to take down anyone who threatens her mission.
Following the events of The Wrath of Becky (2023), the latest chapter raises the stakes as Becky takes on a new assignment that brings her face-to-face with an organised extremist network operating in Poland.
What Is
The Last Temptation of Becky
About?
Now working as a CIA field agent, Becky is sent undercover to infiltrate a family running an inn at the Wolf’s Lair, a former military headquarters used by Adolf Hitler during World War II.
Her investigation leads her to Wilhelm Reuss, the family patriarch whose ambitions extend far beyond running a tourist destination. After discovering his plans to resurrect the Fourth Reich, Becky decides to take matters into her own hands, setting the stage for another brutal confrontation.
The newly released trailer offers a glimpse of Becky preparing for her latest mission, alongside the introduction of Harris as the franchise’s newest antagonist. During a briefing, Becky’s CIA superior warns her about the threat posed by Reuss, prompting a characteristically direct response from the no-nonsense operative.
As Becky goes undercover, the situation quickly escalates, with the trailer teasing the violent clashes and dark humour that have helped define the franchise. With an extremist organisation plotting a dangerous new future, Becky is prepared to do whatever it takes to bring its leader down.
