Apple TV has unveiled the official trailer for 12 12 12, an upcoming heist thriller starring Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan as two men on opposite sides of a high-stakes criminal operation. The eight-episode series promises an international game of cat and mouse, with a daring bank vault robbery in Zurich at the centre of the action.
Mackie, known for his role as Sam Wilson in Marvel’s Captain America franchise, stars as a disgraced FBI agent tasked with pursuing Dornan’s character, an experienced American career criminal. As their paths collide across Europe, the investigation becomes entangled with an ambitious robbery that could have far-reaching consequences.
What sets 12 12 12 apart is its distinctive storytelling structure. Each episode explores three interconnected periods surrounding the heist: the 12 months spent planning the operation, the 12 hours in which the robbery unfolds, and the 12 days that follow. This approach promises to explore not only the meticulous preparation behind the crime, but also the chaos and consequences that emerge once the plan is put into motion.
The series reunites Mackie and Dornan, who previously appeared together in the science-fiction thriller Synchronic. Their latest collaboration places them on opposing sides of a tense criminal pursuit, with the trailer offering a glimpse of the escalating conflict between an investigator determined to catch his target and a criminal attempting to stay one step ahead.
Joining the two leads is an ensemble cast featuring Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, José Garcia and Kali Reis. The series is created by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble, who also serve as executive producers. Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and executive produces the project.
Produced by Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content, 12 12 12 will premiere globally on Apple TV on November 13, 2026, with its first two episodes. New episodes will then arrive weekly, leading up to the season finale on December 25.
With its multi-timeline narrative, international setting and two compelling leads, 12 12 12 is shaping up to be a promising addition to Apple TV’s growing slate of crime dramas.
