A24 has unveiled a chilling new trailer for Slayground, the upcoming mystery thriller from filmmaker Jeremy Saulnier, promising a blood-soaked nightmare set inside a haunted-house attraction.
Starring Cory Michael Smith (Gotham, Saturday Night), the film follows scare actor Michael “Metal Mike” Graves, who wakes up inside a haunted attraction surrounded by the bodies of his co-workers, with no memory of what happened. As authorities launch a statewide manhunt, Mike must piece together the truth and determine whether he is responsible for the horrifying events.
The newly released trailer offers a disturbing glimpse into the film’s deadly setting, featuring masked killers, gruesome scenes and terrified visitors desperately attempting to escape. What initially appears to be a Halloween attraction quickly transforms into a fight for survival, with danger lurking around every corner.
Written and directed by Saulnier, the film marks another return to the intense, claustrophobic storytelling that defined his acclaimed thrillers Green Room and Rebel Ridge. With its combination of mystery, relentless tension and brutal horror, Slayground looks set to deliver another nerve-racking experience from the filmmaker.
The ensemble cast includes Sophie Wilde, Chase Sui Wonders, Imogen Poots, James Badge Dale, Young Mazino, Stephen Root, Matty Matheson, Stanley Simons and Chris Sullivan.
Adding to the anticipation, the film features a score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the acclaimed musical duo known for their atmospheric and unsettling compositions.
Previously developed under the title October, Slayground is produced by A24, which is also handling its theatrical release.
Slayground is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on January 29, 2027.
