Record-breaking rock band The Pretty Reckless are giving fans a more personal look into their world with the release of the official music video for “About You (Bonus Version),” offering a candid glimpse into life on the road and the creative moments that happen behind the scenes.
The new video captures the band beyond the stage, bringing together intimate footage from their time touring and working in the studio. Originally featured on the band’s fifth studio album, DEAR GOD, released in June, “About You” receives an expanded treatment in its bonus version. The track features additional instrumentation and backing vocals from Foo Fighters members Dave Grohl and Pat Smear, adding another layer to the collaboration and bringing together some of rock music’s most recognisable names.
Frontwoman Taylor Momsen says the video was created as a way to share a more personal side of the band’s experience while recognising the people who have helped make their journey possible.
“We wanted to give you a glimpse into our world, from life on the road to moments we share in the studio. ‘About You (Bonus Version)’ is a little piece of that journey. But at the core, it is all about YOU. The fans who make it all possible. You’re the real stars of this one and we thank you,” Momsen shares.

The new music video arrives as The Pretty Reckless prepare to continue their DEAR GOD Tour, with the band set to return to stages across Europe and the United Kingdom from November 9.
The European and UK run begins at La Riviera in Madrid before travelling through Barcelona, Milan, Prague, Berlin, Cologne, Amsterdam and Paris. The tour will then head to the UK for a series of performances in Bristol, Wolverhampton, Manchester, London and Glasgow, bringing the run to a close on December 3.
