Hi Jessica and welcome to OLC! With your extensive background in the entertainment industry, what inspired you to pursue a career in acting and writing?

I’ve always been an extremely emotional person so realizing that I could make a career out of expressing myself and my feelings through different characters was like hitting the jackpot.

Can you share your experience working on the movie “Break In” and how you prepared for the role of Heather?

We did many overnight shoots. I had to make sure I got plenty of sleep during the day so that I could handle all the emotional and physical challenges of the character.

How do you approach your roles in Lifetime movies, particularly in “The Wrong” franchise, and what do you enjoy most about working in this genre?

I really enjoy playing women who must fight back against the circumstances that threaten to destroy their lives.

As a co-writer and star of “Twisted Little Lies,” can you discuss the creative process behind developing and bringing that TV movie to life?

Melissa and I started by creating the characters. We developed the plot. Then we outlined the script and began writing the screenplay.

Your performance in Amazon Prime’s “Ladies of the Lake” earned you a nomination for Best Lead Actress. What challenges did you face in portraying your character, and how did you prepare for such a role?

The character was someone who had it all together on the outside, perfect home, clothes, makeup, and hair. But on the inside, she was completely falling apart. The dichotomy of this role was an exciting challenge to take on.

Being part of the horror genre in films like “Living Among Us” and “The Onania Club,” what draws you to these projects, and how do you approach the unique challenges of horror acting?

You really get to use your imagination and go to some other-worldly places within the horror genre because the stories can be wild sometimes.

You’ve worked in various Christmas movies. What appeals to you about these projects, and do you have a favorite holiday film you’ve been a part of? Are you a festive person?

I love the holidays and really look forward to celebrating them. A Christmas Cruise was an awesome movie to film. I had a blast with the other actors, and we got to shoot some of the scenes on a huge boat.

Could you share your experience guest starring on TV shows like “Rosewood,” “Perception,” “CSI: New York,” and “Mixology”?

TV usually moves much faster than film. So, you really have to be ready to nail it right away.

With your presence on social media and a substantial following, how do you navigate the balance between your personal and professional life online?

I primarily use social media to share professional highlights but sometimes I also want to post about my husband, family & friends. I’m a very open person so not much is off limits.

Recently presenting at The Family Film Awards, can you tell us about your involvement and the significance of events like these in the industry?

It was wonderful to be a presenter. Events like this are cool because you get to see other actors/entertainers that you know. It’s such a small world in this business and it’s always a pleasure to run into other artists that you’ve met along your journey.
