A Different World sequel series is currently in the works at Netflix, and would follow Dwayne and Whitley’s daughter from the original series. Deadline reports that it’ll be a half hour comedy series that would hail from writer/executive producer Felicia Pride and executive producers Debbie Allen, Mandy Summers, Tom Werner, Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Bythewood.
Not much else is currently known except that it would follow Dwayne and Whitley’s daughter as she attends Hillman College, the school that was the main focus of the original show.
