A24 has unveiled the first trailer for Marc by Sofia, a new documentary from acclaimed filmmaker Sofia Coppola centered on legendary designer Marc Jacobs.
The film is described as an intimate and unconventional portrait of Jacobs, with Coppola exploring the creative mind and singular world behind one of America’s most influential fashion figures. Known for her atmospheric and deeply personal storytelling, Coppola turns her lens toward Jacobs’ artistry, legacy, and the cultural imprint he has carved across decades in the industry.
Marc by Sofia will open in New York theaters on March 20, 2026, before expanding nationwide on March 27, 2026.
