“’picky choosy’ is about knowing your worth and protecting your energy from those who don’t deserve it. There’s value in saving the love some of us so easily give to others for ourselves, and I hope this song makes all the picky people, who love deeply but choose themselves first, feel seen.” – Chelsea Jordan

| The last time we heard from talker, the project of Los Angeles-based songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Celeste Tauchar (she/her), she was in the middle of her own reckoning. Her 2024 debut, I’m Telling You The Truth, documented hard conversations and the emotional clarity that comes with them. She crafted and self-produced entire worlds around each track, finally finding ways to say the things that had been stuck in her throat for years. But as it turns out, her work had only just begun. Today, talker returns with “Gold Rush,” a desolate and stark next step into the unknown of what happens after you tell the truth. Built on tremolo-soaked guitars that shimmer like a mirage in the desert, the song feels like life in the American West at its most unforgiving. |

Chart-topping songwriter Jaxson Free releases his latest single, “LET U GO,” a catchy, melodic earworm that lingers long after the last note fades– much like the ex the singer just can’t seem to shake. The song, written by Free, Jacob Hackworth, Jordan Dozzi and Grady Block, is written from the perspective of a guy who would rather pretend, replay memories and live with ghosts than confront the hard truth that the relationship is over. The hitmaker and North Carolina native produced the track alongside Tyler Dopps and Grady Block, wrapping heartbreak in glossy hooks and emotional honesty. With the ability to weave in and out of genres and seamlessly fuse musical styles from all decades, regions and backgrounds, the virtuoso pulls inspiration from his southern roots to pair vulnerable lyrics with an undeniable Pop pull. “LET U GO” lives in the world of Justin Bieber–style melodies, but with a Carolina accent that gives it warmth, charm and a distinct sense of place.

Within a month, it hit 100,000 streams, signaling the arrival of a sound both fresh and timeless.

Tiptoeing the lines between adventure and destruction, “Delirium” is a synth-boogie track inspired by the rhythms and melodies of Kpop. With a lush Fm synth lead, sampled kalimba and taepyeongso, the track bursts with flavor and candor. An LA-based producer and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Robert Ruby is proud to present his new music project: Crimes of Passion. The rhythms and grooves that are to come from Crimes of Passion are infectious and will leave you wanting more.

New York’s Scarlett Macfarlane returns with “Winter’s Whisper,” a fun, energetic, and delightfully zany alternative-pop single that invites listeners into a world where fantasy and reality blur. Inspired initially by the image of a magical winter walk, the song quickly evolved into something far more surreal and became a reflection on how life itself often feels stranger than fiction.
“I wrote ‘Winter’s Whisper’ based on just the title and how magical a walk in a winter ‘wonderland’ could be,” Macfarlane explains. “Then words like ‘magic’ and ‘wonderland’ took me down a not-so-proverbial rabbit hole.” Drawing inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s iconic prose, the song shifted perspective, becoming a commentary on the bizarre, confusing, dangerous, and incredible nature of reality itself. “This world, life itself, is filled with fantasy,” she says. “It can be all at once transformed by the cast of characters you encounter throughout your own zany story.”

Montreal-Berlin producer, DJ, and vocalist Maara releases her new album Ultra Villain, a deeply personal, narrative-driven record that explores desire, heartbreak, obsession, and the freedom that comes with choosing yourself.
Rooted in trip-hop, IDM, leftfield pop, and alt-R&B, Ultra Villain prioritizes storytelling and vocal intimacy over functionality, while still brandishing Maara’s powerful rhythms and sound design. Songs like “A Moving Blur” and the title track capture the ache of unreciprocated love and the fallout of fractured relationships, while more experimental moments such as “Obsessive Compulsion” depict intrusive thoughts and emotional suffocation. The album embraces life’s heaviness, finding release in transformation over resolution.
Lead single “I’m The One You Want” captures Maara at her most self-assured. The hefty trip-hop foundation moves with hushed confidence, pairing gauzy textures and a strutting groove with an intimate vocal presence. Written from a place of hard-won self-trust, the song marks a shift toward clarity. “I realized people can only meet you where they’ve met themselves,” Maara says.

The first sound you hear on Well I Mean isn’t a guitar chord or lyric. It’s a quiet voice asking, “Where’s Brian?.” It’s a surreal opening moment for the debut solo album from Brian Sella of The Front Bottoms, releasing solely under his surname, Sella.
Produced by Chad Matheny of Emperor X and out March 13 on Bar/None, Well I Mean captures the weight of expectation between a person and the version of them everyone thinks they know. What does an artist do when the distance from the bedroom to the arena starts to feel like a bridge too far?
Today Sella shares a first glimpse of the album in “Perfect Worth It.”The track first came to life while Brian was in Berlin, recording it live at Donau 115, the Berlin DIY jazz club co-owned by Emperor X. Swells of horns fill the atmosphere around Sella’s words, giving the track a more experimental feel than anything he’s written before.

Longtime collaborators and electronic music mainstays Kaskade and CID reunite alongside acclaimed vocalist Anabel Englund for their highly anticipated new single, “Vision Blurred”, marking their debut release on John Summit’s label, Experts Only.
Drawing from a collaborative history spanning more than a decade – including fan-favorite releases like “Sweet Memories” (2016) and “Us” (2015) – Kaskade and CID return with a refined progressive house offering that blends melodic depth, emotional tension, and club-ready momentum. Anchored by Anabel Englund’s unmistakable vocal delivery, “Vision Blurred” highlights the trio’s shared instinct for timeless dance records. The single is polished, emotive, and built to resonate across both underground club spaces and large-scale stages.
The track has steadily gained traction over the past year, emerging as a standout moment in DJ sets across the global electronic circuit. Its consistent presence on festival mainstages and club floors alike has fueled anticipation among fans, positioning “Vision Blurred” as one of the most sought-after releases from both artists. Landing on Experts Only, the track represents a natural alignment between seasoned innovators and one of dance music’s most influential modern imprints.
The release follows Kaskade’s critically acclaimed studio album undux, released on December 4, 2025, and marks the eight-time GRAMMY nominee’s first major release of 2026. For CID, “Vision Blurred” continues a strong run of club-focused releases and high-profile support, further cementing his reputation as one of house music’s most reliable and in-demand producers.

Nian Tong is a London-based singer-songwriter, producer, and composer whose music blends emotionally driven indie pop with warm harmonies and a whimsical melodic sensibility inspired by 1960s and 1970s pop. Rooted in personal storytelling, his songs transform modern experiences of love, intimacy, and disconnection into something playful, sincere, and quietly devastating beneath the sweetness.
Originally focused on writing and producing for others, Nian’s transition into performing came gradually. Writing lyrics became a turning point, pushing him to tell his own stories in his own voice. He developed his vocals during the pandemic and released his debut EP in 2023. Relocating to London later that year and immersing himself in the city’s live music and art scene fully cemented his evolution from behind-the-scenes creator to frontman.
His new single, “What’s On Your Mind,” is one of his most personal releases to date. Written in September 2023 during his first month in London, the song was inspired by a long-distance love that never quite materialised. After years of staying in touch with someone he first fell in love with in Boston, Nian finally took a chance and moved to London, only to be ghosted shortly after arriving. The track captures the emotional whiplash of hope, heartbreak, and unanswered questions, turning a deeply painful experience into something tender, sweet, and quietly uplifting.

The Undercover Dream Lovers have announced their new album, atomic house, will arrive on March 20 via SoundOn. Los Angeles-based musician and producer Matt Koenig is stepping away from his fuzzy, dream-pop sound on this record and allowing for kinetic moments to be driven by his scratchier voice and guitar. The album’s 14 songs are built from tactile details and lived-in scenes that don’t just recall the past, but make it feel present again. From his childhood in Pennsylvania to New York DIY spaces to life in contemporary LA, Koenig creates a string of transportive worlds where listeners can become protagonists in psychedelic indie rock wonderlands — Pre-save.
“Whether it’s dial up phones or the feeling of pushing a doorbell when you’re running around the neighborhood and playing ding-dong ditch, there are so many tactile things that just get us excited,” Koenig explains. “That was my anchor for this whole record, remembering those feelings and stepping back into my own experience or into the shoes of a character who may have had these experiences.”
The album news arrives with the new single and video “lies lies lies.” A bicycle bell and the sound of youthful chattering open the new offering, a track powered by a refusal to give up on childhood dreams in the face of buttoned-up expectations. “I sat in my room/ Stared at the wall/ I wanted to be like Jimi playing guitar,” he sighs, before lashing out at the lies fed to wide-eyed dreamers told to get a real job — Stream.

MACY, a pop artist from South Wales, has been steadily building a reputation for bright, unapologetically feel-good pop that blends sharp storytelling with infectious energy. Writing and recording much of her music from her bedroom, she first broke through with her debut single “Cinema” in 2020 and has since developed a bold, confident sound across two EPs and a growing catalogue of releases. Coming from Blaenau Gwent, an area where opportunities in the music industry can be limited, MACY’s journey has been shaped by determination and resilience, carving her own lane in a genre rarely championed in her hometown. Passionate about giving back, she also regularly returns to local schools and community spaces to encourage young creatives to pursue music and self-expression.Her new single “Please Keep Talking” captures MACY at her most playful and self-aware. Written alongside Owain Felstead and chart-topping, award-winning producer Zak Lloyd at Birchwood Recording Studio in Newport, the track turns the all-too-relatable experience of being trapped in an awkward conversation into a tongue-in-cheek pop anthem. Lloyd brings heavyweight pop experience, with credits linked to the Taylor Swift Reputation Tour alongside work with artists including Calum Scott, Wonho, The Stickmen, Charli XCX and Keane, as well
