Netflix has officially announced the highly anticipated return of Lana Condor, star of the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy. Condor is set to reprise her beloved role as Lara Jean Covey in the upcoming third season of the popular romance comedy series “XO, Kitty,” a spin-off from the original films.
In a new video shared by XO, Kitty, Condor was seen on set, hinting at Lara Jean’s reunion with Anna Cathcart’s character, Kitty Song Covey. Prior to Condor’s appearance, her co-star Noah Centineo made a guest appearance as Peter Kavinsky during the previous season, visiting Kitty at her school in South Korea.
The upcoming season’s synopsis reveals that Kitty is entering her final year at KISS Academy with a clear plan for her senior year. She aims to create meaningful memories with friends, strengthen her family bonds in Korea, and make significant decisions about her future. The season will also explore her evolving relationship with Min Ho, with the show promising that “for real this time,” Kitty will face unexpected surprises that challenge her plans and relationships, ultimately teaching her to embrace life’s surprises.
Created and executive-produced by author Jenny Han, “XO, Kitty” is now led by showrunner and writer Valentina Garza for Season 3. The cast includes Anna Cathcart as Kitty Song Covey, Minyeong Choi as Dae, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Regan Aliyah as Juliana, Sule Thelwell as Marius, Hojo Shin as Jiwon, and others, featuring a talented ensemble of actors. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios with executive producers Matt Kaplan, Bradley Gardner, and Valentina Garza. Since its debut in 2023, the series has been well-received, boasting an average rating of 82% on Rotten Tomatoes.
