Amazon MGM Studios has unveiled the teaser trailer for Jack Ryan: Ghost War, the upcoming sequel to the popular Prime Video series starring John Krasinski. Based on Tom Clancy’s Ryanverse novels, the film is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2026.
According to the official synopsis, in this new installment, Jack Ryan is reluctantly pulled back into the world of espionage when an international covert operation uncovers a deadly conspiracy. He must confront a rogue black-ops unit in a race against time, operating in real-time with lives at stake and threats escalating at every turn. Ryan teams up with seasoned CIA operative Mike November (Michael Kelly) and former CIA director James Greer (Wendell Pierce), whose combined experience is their strongest asset against an enemy who seems to anticipate their every move. Alongside a new, sharp MI6 partner, Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller), Jack and his team navigate a complex web of betrayal, confronting past demons and facing their most personal and high-stakes mission to date.
Directed by Andrew Bernstein, Jack Ryan: Ghost War features a screenplay co-written by Krasinski and Aaron Rabin. Bernstein previously directed and executive-produced Season 2 of the series. Krasinski stars as Jack Ryan on the big screen for the first time after four seasons on Prime Video. He is joined by Wendell Pierce as James Greer, Michael Kelly as Mike November, Betty Gabriel as Elizabeth Wright, and supporting cast members including Sienna Miller, Mckenna Bridger, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild.
The action thriller is produced by Krasinski, Allyson Seeger of Sunday Night, and Andrew Form, with executive producers including David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance, along with John Kelly and Carlton Cuse. The collaboration is a joint production between Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures, and Skydance.
