Sabrina Carpenter surprised fans with a teaser for the upcoming music video of her Billboard Hot 100 hit “House Tour,” from her chart-topping album Man’s Best Friend. She also announced that the full video will premiere this coming Monday.
In a short clip shared on Instagram, Carpenter is seen driving a pink van alongside actresses Margaret Qualley—who is married to “House Tour” producer Jack Antonoff—and Madelyn Cline. While their ultimate destination remains a mystery, fans quickly picked up on the playful vibe, guessing that the three are up to no good. During the drive, a radio voice warns listeners to lock their doors.
“It’s a not-so-pretty evening on Pretty Girl Avenue,” the announcer states. “Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighborhood.” Who are the culprits? “Three young women in minimal clothing,” armed and dangerous,” the broadcast claims.
As the warning concludes, the trio arrives at their destination. Carpenter parks the car, and Cline asks, “Should we go in the backdoor?” Both Qualley and Carpenter quickly reply, “No.” Fans will recognize this as a cheeky nod to the song’s chorus: “I just want you to come inside / But never enter through the backdoor.”
Although the teaser was shared on April Fool’s Day, Carpenter confirmed it’s no joke. “No joke… house tour video this Monday,” she wrote in her Instagram caption.
The music video arrives just ahead of Carpenter’s first of two headlining performances at Coachella, beginning Friday, April 10. Check out the full “House Tour” teaser below.
