The first full trailer for Focker-In-Law has been released, giving fans a glimpse of the next installment in the iconic comedy series featuring stars like Ariana Grande, Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, and others. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on November 25, 2026.
While specific plot details remain under wraps, it’s rumored that the story will focus on the son of Greg and Pam Focker marrying a strong-willed woman who must navigate her way through the infamous family. The trailer introduces Olivia Jones, Henry Focker’s girlfriend—Greg and Pam’s son. Olivia is portrayed as a no-nonsense character with a background as an FBI hostage negotiator, claiming she’s capable of “freeing” Henry from being “emotionally hostage.” This causes some tension with Greg Focker but impresses Jack Byrnes, who considers her worthy of joining the circle of trust.
Focker-In-Law will be directed by John Hamburg, who previously wrote the scripts for Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers. Several familiar faces from the original films will reprise their roles, including De Niro as Jack Byrnes, Stiller as Gaylord “Greg” Focker, Blythe Danner as Dina Byrnes, Teri Polo as Pam Byrnes Focker, and Owen Wilson as Kevin Rawley. Ariana Grande stars as Olivia Jones, with Skyler Gisondo playing Henry Focker, Beanie Feldstein as Samantha Focker, and Eduardo Franco rounding out the cast.
The film will be released in U.S. theaters by Universal Pictures on November 25, 2026. The previous films—Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, and Little Fockers—are available for rent or purchase on digital platforms such as Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and more.
The Meet the Parents franchise began in 2000, directed by Jay Roach, featuring Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro. It was followed by two sequels: Meet the Fockers in 2004 and Little Fockers in 2010.
