Henry Cavill has signed on to star alongside Kevin Hart in an upcoming spy-action comedy, with McG directing for Netflix, according to Deadline.
The film is based on a short story by Sean Lewis and follows two rival spies whose paths cross unexpectedly in a Lamaze class. Their wives quickly become close friends, and as their double lives intertwine, the situation leads to a series of humorous and perilous moments. Reluctantly, the two men must team up and navigate the chaos on their journey to fatherhood.
Cavill will portray one of the spies, though specific details about his character are being kept confidential.
The screenplay is penned by Adam & Aaron Nee and Jonathan Tropper. The project is produced by Shawn Levy and Dan Levine (21 Laps), Ryan Reynolds, George Dewey, and Patrick Gooing (Maximum Effort), along with Kevin Hart, Luke Kelly-Clyne, and Bryan Smiley (Hartbeat). Emily Morris from 21 Laps is serving as an executive producer.
