Ana de Armas and Kate Hudson have signed on as the lead stars in the highly anticipated erotic thriller titled Palm Grove. The project is produced by Chernin Entertainment and is directed by Kornél Mundruczó, acclaimed filmmaker of Pieces of a Woman. According to Deadline, Chernin Entertainment will be presenting the film package to the market tomorrow, which is expected to attract significant interest from potential buyers.
The film is based on a screenplay by James Morosini, who also serves as an executive producer. The production team includes Peter Chernin, David Ready, and Brady Fujikawa.
Palm Grove is set in Miami’s most exclusive neighborhood, where a seemingly perfect wife uncovers her husband’s double life. This revelation sparks a seductive power struggle, turning betrayal into the most intoxicating game of her life, according to the film’s initial synopsis.
Ana de Armas was last seen in the 2025 John Wick spin-off Ballerina and is currently filming her first major TV project with Apple TV, titled Safe House. Kate Hudson’s recent work includes Song Sung Blue, which earned her multiple Best Actress nominations, including an Oscar and a Golden Globe. She also reprised her role in Netflix’s sports comedy series Running Point, which has been renewed for a third season. Currently, Hudson is in production on her first romantic comedy film since 2011’s Something Borrowed. The upcoming Amazon MGM Studios production, Hello & Paris, will also star Javier Bardem.
