Netflix is developing an exciting new spy drama series featuring Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour, marking their reunion after their acclaimed roles in Stranger Things. Created by Emmy-winning writer Jack Thorne, the series is currently untitled.

The show will explore the complex relationship between an estranged father and daughter, played by Harbour and Brown. According to the official synopsis, the story centers on Matt Wolfe (Harbour), a disgraced FBI agent turned security expert, who is pulled back into the dangerous world he thought he had left behind. His daughter Rebecca (Brown), now an FBI agent eager to follow in her father’s footsteps, goes missing on a mission. Her disappearance forces Matt to re-enter a rapidly evolving field from which he has been distanced.

Jinny Howe, Netflix’s Head of Scripted Series for the U.S. and Canada, expressed enthusiasm about the project, saying, “We’re thrilled to bring this spy drama to life with such a talented team. Jack Thorne’s storytelling seamlessly blends human depth with thriller elements. Watching Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour reunite—this time as estranged father and daughter on opposite sides of a crisis—will captivate audiences. A24 is the perfect partner to bring this story worldwide.”

Thorne will serve as an executive producer alongside Brown and Harbour. The production team also includes Jake Bongiovi, Robert Brown, Joe Hipps, Patrick McDonald, and KC Wenson as executive producers.

In addition to this project, Brown is set to star in the third Enola Holmes film alongside Henry Cavill. Harbour was last seen in HBO Max’s dark comedy series DTF St. Louis and will next appear as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian in the highly anticipated Marvel film Avengers: Doomsday.

This new series adds to Netflix’s growing lineup of upcoming titles, including BEEF Season 2, Man on Fire, Nemesis, East of Eden, and The Altruists. While an official release date has not been announced, fans are eager to see Brown and Harbour’s compelling reunion in this gripping spy thriller.
