Following her recent departure from NBC’s Saturday Night Live, Chloe Fineman has landed her next acting role. She will star alongside Jabari Banks in his first major project since Bel-Air on Peacock, as well as Jamie McShane (Task, Wednesday) in a new Netflix series based on Harlan Coben’s popular book series, Myron Bolitar.
The series centers on Myron Bolitar (played by Colin Woodell), a former NBA hopeful whose injury ends his basketball career. He then transforms into a sports agent, navigating the competitive and often dangerous world of professional sports with a combination of charm, intelligence, and a tough, loyal partner. His goal is to protect his clients at all costs, even if it means risking himself.
Joining the cast are KJ Apa and Diane Guerrero, with additional casting announced today. Banks will portray Dwayne Richmond, a charismatic tennis prodigy expected to become one of the top players globally. Dwayne is the star client at MB Sports, known for his cool demeanor, signature shoes, and trademark sunglasses.
Fineman will play Parker Quinn, a dedicated sports reporter known for her hard work and genuine passion for the game. McShane joins as Detective Ray Dimonte, a seasoned NYPD homicide investigator. Meanwhile, Ben McKenzie will guest star as Gavin Pierce, one of the top sports agents and Myron’s former agent before their falling out following Myron’s injury.
The series is co-showrun, written, and executive produced by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Margo’s Got Money Troubles) and Kyle Long (Suits, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G). Additional executive producers include Matthew Tinker, Coben, and Rick Muirragui. Greg Yaitanes (House of the Dragon, Presumed Innocent) will direct multiple episodes.
