Get ready to head back to Hollywood Arts.
Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Hollywood Arts, the upcoming spin-off of Nickelodeon’s beloved teen comedy Victorious. The new series brings back Daniella Monet as fan-favourite character Trina Vega, this time with Trina stepping into a very different role at the performing arts school.
Set years after the events of the original series, Hollywood Arts finds Trina struggling to establish herself as an actress. When she returns to her former high school, she unexpectedly takes on a job as a substitute teacher.
Despite being far from the conventional educator, Trina finds herself responsible for a new generation of talented and ambitious students. The trailer teases plenty of personality clashes, comedic chaos and the pressures that come with trying to make it in the entertainment world.
Rather than simply recreating the original Victorious, the spin-off introduces an entirely new group of students while keeping Trina at the centre of the story. The new ensemble includes Alyssa Miles as Emmy, Emmy Liu-Wang as Pepper, Peyton Jackson as Qwest, Erika Swayze as Jen Z and Martin Kamm as Oscar.
Fans of the original series will also have some familiar faces to look forward to. Yvette Nicole Brown returns as Principal Helen, while Eric Lange reprises his role as Hollywood Arts teacher Sikowitz and Matt Bennett returns as Robbie Shapiro. Additional guest appearances include Kira Kosarin, Lexi Rivera, Taylen Biggs and Sofie Dossi.
The return marks a significant trip down memory lane for fans who grew up with Victorious, which originally ran from 2010 to 2013. This time, however, the spotlight shifts toward a completely new generation experiencing the highs, lows and eccentricities of life at Hollywood Arts.
Monet is also serving as an executive producer on the new series, alongside original Victorious writer Jake Farrow, Samantha Martin and director Jonathan Judge. The series was developed without the involvement of Victorious creator Dan Schneider.
Hollywood Arts is set to premiere globally on Netflix on October 15, 2026, with the first season consisting of 26 episodes.
The first trailer suggests that while Hollywood Arts may look a little different this time around, the school’s combination of ambitious performers, big personalities and unpredictable situations remains very much intact.
The class is officially back in session.
