Gracie Abrams is giving fans another reason to fall into her musical world. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter has unveiled her latest single, ‘Here You Come, There You Go’, offering an exciting new chapter in the era of her critically acclaimed third studio album, Daughter from Hell.

Released on October 29, the new track arrives alongside the announcement of Daughter from Hell (Deluxe), an expanded edition of Abrams’ latest album, scheduled to arrive November 20. But rather than simply revisiting familiar territory, ‘Here You Come, There You Go’ finds the singer exploring a slightly different musical direction, pairing her emotionally revealing songwriting with a more energetic, rock-influenced pop sound.

Co-written with Amy Allen and Jim-E Stack, who also produced the track, the single brings together three creative talents for a collaboration that feels like an exciting addition to Abrams’ evolving catalogue. Built around guitars, electronic textures and infectious production, the song allows her vocals to move beyond the softer, more understated arrangements that have become synonymous with much of her work.

At its heart, ‘Here You Come, There You Go’ explores the complicated emotions of an unpredictable relationship. It’s about the familiar frustration of someone repeatedly finding their way back into your life just when you’ve started putting the pieces back together. There is an undeniable push and pull to the story, capturing the difficulty of letting go when feelings refuse to follow the rules.

What makes the track particularly compelling is the tension between its lively musical arrangement and its emotionally messy subject matter. Abrams has always demonstrated an ability to turn personal experiences into relatable songwriting, and here she continues that tradition with a sound that feels refreshingly playful without losing its emotional depth.

The single also offers an interesting glimpse into the creative possibilities surrounding Daughter from Hell. Originally released in July 2026, the album marked a significant career milestone for Abrams, becoming her first record to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Created alongside longtime collaborator Aaron Dessner, the album explored the uncertainty, personal growth and emotional turbulence that can define your twenties.

The upcoming deluxe edition will introduce five additional tracks, expanding the original 16-song collection into a 21-track release. Alongside ‘Here You Come, There You Go’, fans can look forward to ‘Lost In It’, ‘Crazy Girl’, ‘Love Letter’ and ‘Out of Nowhere’. The latter has already developed a special connection with fans after Abrams performed it live during her 2025 Glastonbury appearance, while ‘Crazy Girl’ previously appeared as a vinyl-exclusive bonus track.

For Abrams, the new release arrives during an exciting period of momentum. Following the success of Good Riddance and The Secret of Us, she has continued to establish herself as one of contemporary pop’s most distinctive singer-songwriters. Her ability to balance vulnerability with increasingly ambitious musical choices has helped build a devoted audience that connects with the honesty at the centre of her music.

There is also plenty more on the horizon. Abrams is set to return as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live on October 31, before embarking on her upcoming Look at My Life Tour, which begins in Denver on December 2 and will continue across North America before heading to Europe in April 2027.

‘Here You Come, There You Go’ feels like a fitting addition to this next chapter. It captures the emotional unpredictability that makes Abrams’ songwriting so relatable while allowing her to experiment with a more energetic musical palette. Rather than simply offering more of what fans already know, she is continuing to explore different ways of expressing the same complicated feelings.

With Daughter from Hell (Deluxe) arriving November 20, Abrams is giving listeners even more reasons to stay invested in an album era that has already delivered one of the biggest milestones of her career. If this latest single is anything to go by, there are still plenty of stories left for her to tell.
