Paramount Pictures has released a brand-new trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3, giving fans another look at Jason Sudeikis returning as Red for an adventure that puts his parenting skills to the ultimate test.
Arriving in cinemas this holiday season, the third instalment sees Red facing a challenge unlike anything he has encountered before: balancing the responsibilities of fatherhood with another mission to save the world.
The newly released trailer opens with Red and Silver looking forward to a family Spaghetti Night, only to discover their children are far more interested in their digital devices. Having already saved the island twice, Red believes his days as a hero might be behind him, declaring that his next big challenge is becoming the best dad he can possibly be.
However, adjusting to family life proves easier said than done. As Red and Silver navigate the unpredictable world of parenthood, familiar faces Chuck and Bomb are also attempting to settle into a quieter lifestyle.
That peace doesn’t last long, though, as a new villain emerges with a terrifying warning that the island faces an extinction-level threat. With the future of their home hanging in the balance, Red is forced back into action. This time, however, he won’t be fighting alone, as his family joins him on the mission.
The trailer also offers a first listen to new music from BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, who co-wrote the original song “Sun Showers”, featured in the footage.
Directed by John Rice, with a screenplay by Thurop Van Orman, The Angry Birds Movie 3 features an impressive voice cast led by Sudeikis, alongside Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom, Emma Myers, Walker Scobell, Danny McBride, Marcello Hernández, Tim Robinson, Anna Cathcart, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Nikki Glaser, Psalm West, MrBeast, Salish Matter, Sam Richardson, James Austin Johnson, Lily James and Keke Palmer.
John Cohen, Dan Chuba, Carla Connor and Namit Malhotra serve as producers, with Thurop Van Orman also among the executive producers.
The Angry Birds Movie 3 is set to arrive in cinemas on December 23, 2026, bringing Red and the gang back for another animated adventure that promises plenty of comedy, family chaos and world-saving action.
