Sara Bareilles Empowerment To Women, SX and Van Bellman

Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award-nominated singer, songwriter, actress, and author, Sara Bareilles returns with her brand new single “Armor.” It’s the first song from her forthcoming album due out next year, her first full length album since 2013.

For “Armor” and the entire record, she teamed up with legendary Academy Award-winning producer T Bone Burnett. “Armor” shows Sara delivering her most passionate and powerful statement in music to date. Sara spoke on the single saying; “Sometimes the world inspires a song… and sometimes the world also inspires the release date. So here we are. I spent the summer of 2018 working with T Bone Burnett on material that is incredibly near and dear to my heart, “Armor” serving as the centerpiece. It has been one of the great artistic adventures of my life. I am incredibly proud to share the first taste of it all.”

The video is an empowerment to women, showing real women holding up lines from the song and evoking a spirit of sisterhood. “Armor” is certainly at the top of our playlists and it should be at yours.

SX is formed by Stefanie Callebaut and Benjamin Desmet who got discovered through social media in 2012 with the mesmerizing song “Black Video”, which to date has almost 1 million views on YouTube. They’ve supported acts like Vampire Weekend, Yeasayer, Poliça and Ariel Pink, but also appeared on numerous renowned festivals and music venues throughout Europe.

The Belgian pop-electronica band has just released their brand new song
Designed/Desire, an tantalizing electronic pop anthem about love and creation. This is the first single taken from SX’s new album “Eros”, set for release on November 15.

Our next video is fitting for Halloween which is quickly approaching, and it’s by gritty indie-pop artist Van Bellman. “I Hate To See You This Way” is an old-timey rock & roll zombie video about a gothic love triangle, which highlights Van Bellman’s fun bluesy rock vibe.

“The lyrics of the tune are a bit heavy on face value; the agonizing futility of seeing someone you love go down a dark path. The video highlights the fun, bluesy rock vibe of the production. The widower hates to see his wife dead, the mistress hates to see this man in grief, and of course, the undead bride hates to see her husband rolling around in the sheets with another woman”, Bellman said.

For those not familiar with Bellman’s work, you might recognize him from the Billboard chart topping, multi platinum band American Authors. Now that continued success is only just beginning for Van Bellman, but we can already see a bright future for his solo career.
