INsiders Guide: Caroline Grace, Lostboycrow, Van Bobbi, Stephen Martines’

LA-based pop/R&B singer Caroline Grace released her new music video on Friday for “Bad Behavior”. “Bad Behavior” is the first of a series of singles Caroline will release under her brand new label, Illuminate Creative Group, throughout 2018/2019. Plus she also announced that she’ll be hitting the road with Kyle, Marc E. Bassy and Tobi Lou for their West Coast tour, beginning Nov. 14th in Phoenix, AZ and ending with a hometown show in Los Angeles, CA at The Palladium on Nov. 17th.

The “Bad Behavior” video was shot and directed by Jeff Vanags, and depicts a story based on the personal experiences of Caroline. In a recent interview with POPSTAR!, Caroline spoke of the song

“Bad Behavior’ emerged out of various past experiences in which I was searching for something more than what comes with today’s ‘hook up culture,‘” Caroline said. “A lot of times you see red flags and ignore them, hoping the person you are seeing really is the person you’ve always dreamt about.

Premiering with Billboard on Friday was the new single from Lostboycrow and Bea Miller called “Waste Of Time”. The new song was produced by Dylan Bauld (Halsey, Flor, Bea Miller), “Waste of Time” is the 2nd single released in support of Lostboycrow’s debut album entitled “Santa Fe”. The LA-based singer-songwriter also known as Chris Blair explains:
“It began as an attempt to will my flu-ridden body out of bed one frostbitten night in Santa Fe and ended up being the first song written and recorded for the album. It is a reminder to love the very act of something for what it is and with whom we share it. To untangle our intentions and happiness from guessing at the future and enjoy something regardless of where or what it might bring us.”

Lostboycrow is continuing to rise on the charts, and the singer now has eclipsed nearly 2 million monthly listeners and 54,000 subscribers on Spotify alone.

Van Bobbi

Van Bobbi has graced our INsiders Guide many times before, and now the rising singer has just released the visuals for his single ‘Kickdrum Heartbeat’. The song is meant to uplift and regenerate the soul, and this infectious single is set to make a bold statement on the pop charts. Van Bobbi has amassed thousands of streams on Spotify, and has been featured on high profile media outlets like Earmilk, Live Nation’s Ones To Watch, and PopDust. The singer spoke of the single, that carries some unique beats that has been incorporated from Van Bobbi’s studies of Afro-cuban drums; “I like hard-hitting drums and dancing basslines. I also love to sneak in bits of ‘ear-candy’ and fun little percussive sounds that come out of nowhere. Phil Collins is someone I love for drums”, reveals Van Bobbi.

Stephen Martines’ has just released his brand new heartbreaking single, “Shot Glasses & Bullet Holes”. The song embodies the story of self-isolation and loneliness. It was co-written by Brandon Ray (“Ends of the Earth,” “Small Talkin'”) and Bart Butler (Thomas Rhett’s “Make Me Wanna”; Jon Pardi, Dierks Bentley, Clay Walker), the song is an emotional bullet that pierces the heart of anyone. Laced with the soothing sound of an acoustic  guitar which leads you into a sweeping chorus backed by the warmth of Martines’ vocals, becomes a comforting sound for any listener.
