Born Alexander Ryan Hromyk (Hur-Roe-Mik) and raised just outside of San Francisco, CA, singer-songwriter Sasha Hromyk was determined to succeed as an artist from a young age. Raised in a predominant Russian-American community, Hromyk began singing early on in school productions and church choirs. Uploading YouTube videos at the age of 14 garnered him attention from record labels and television shows alike. Influenced by 90s R&B acts like Boyz II Men, Aaliyah and Brandy as well as Gospel and European Pop/Soul, Hromyk began tuning his craft to these sounds.
Auditions with X Factor USA and The Voice soon followed. After several setbacks Hromyk finished school and obtained a Barber license from the state of Washington. Eventually becoming connected with the Nashville music scene – Hromyk released his debut EP “Brighter Paradigm” in 2018. Blending elements of 90s R&B and West Coast Pop, the 4-track EP was released internationally. It performed well on college radio charts in the US and Canada throughout the year. 2019 saw the release of the more soulfully infused “Tell Me”. A song crafted true to the sound of his roots.

The band says, “We wanted to create a visual that mirrors the surreal feelings of being in a dream: hazy textures, otherworldly imagery, the jarring creepiness of seeing things where they aren’t supposed to be, the gentle ghosts of your past as they continue to tiptoe around in your mind,” the band say. “The ‘SLEEPTALK’ music video is particularly ambitious for us because we use characters, scenery and footage from past music videos to create an almost extended universe for all of the visuals in our YOUTH//Trilogy.”
