Netflix Cancels ‘Grand Army’ After One Season

Loosely adapted from Katie Cappiello’s work Slut: The Play, this teen drama circled around five students at the largest public high school in Brooklyn: Odessa A’zion’s Joey, Odley Jean’s Dom, Amir Bageria’s Sid, Maliq Johnson’s Jayson and Amalia Yoo’s Leila. Sadly though it has been confirmed Netflix has cancelled the popular teen drama after just one season. The show received mostly positive reviews upon its release, holding a 71% critical approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

In addition to having created the series, Capiello served as an executive producer along with Joshua Donen, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Nicolette Donen, and Elizabeth Kling. ‘Grand Army’ season 1 is available for streaming via Netflix, be sure to check it out.
