Exclusive First Look On Set Of DC’s Superhero Feature Film ‘Blue Beetle’

From Warner Bros Pictures and director Angel Manuel Soto and writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer comes the latest superhero film from DC Films ‘Blue Beetle’, set to hit theatres August 2023. The movie stars Susan Sarandon, Raoul Max Trujillo, Xolo Maridueña and George Lopez and tells the story of a Mexican teenager that finds an alien beetle that gives him superpowered armor.

The film was originally set to be released on HBO Max but it was later changed for theaters. It will also mark the the first Latino lead live action superhero movie from DC or Marvel. Blue Beetle will have significant Spanish dialogue with subtitles for English-speaking audiences.
