Reports have emerged today that Netflix is currently in final negotiations to acquire the film adaptation rights to Chris Hicks’ short story titled ‘I Am Not Alone’. Oscar winner Jessica Chastain is currently in talks for the leading role in the sci-fi horror, with director Misha Green signing on as its director and writer. Misha’s previous works include the popular TV show ‘Lovecraft Country’, and she will produce the project alongside Genre Films’ Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon.
‘I Am Not Alone’ follows the story of a mother of a young daughter, whose life changes when she started seeing creatures caused by her migraines.
