New Details On ‘Cliffhanger 2’ Starring Sylvester Stallone

More information has come to light about the upcoming Cliffhanger reboot which will see the return of Sylvester Stallone. According to a recent report from Screen Daily, Cliffhanger 2 will begin production in the summer of 2024. So far, the plan for production is to take place throughout Europe, with director Jean-François Richet set to helm the project.

In new details Stallone will reprise his role as ranger Gabriel “Gabe” Walker, who runs a mountain lodge in his retirement.

“When Gabe and a high-profile client are taken hostage during an adventurous weekend trip, his daughter has to use all her climbing skills to outwit the kidnappers, triggering a battle of life and death,” the synopsis goes on to read.

The Cliffhanger reboot is being produced by Neil H. Moritz and Toby Jaffe for Original Film banner, along with Stallone and Thorsten Schumacher for Balboa Productions.
