Amanda Seyfried Signs On To Star In Upcoming Peacock Limited Series ‘Long Bright River’

Variety reports that Amanda Seyfried is set to star in Long Bright River, an upcoming Peacock limited series described as a suspense thriller. Long Bright River is based on the Liz Moore novel of the same name.

Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, and Amanda Lewis will executive produce for Original Film and Amy Pascal will executive produce for Pascal Pictures. 

This series tells the story of Mickey (Seyfried), a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood that’s been greatly impacted by the opioid crisis. However, when a string of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey comes to realize that her personal history might be related to the case.
