Vanity Fair has debuted the first look at Saturday Night, Jason Reitman’s upcoming film about the events leading up to the opening night of Saturday Night Live in 1975.

“This is about not only the first seven actors, but the writers, the art department, and everybody who came together at the last second to change television,” Reitman told Vanity Fair. “What was so unusual about this show was not only that it was live, but the format was unlike anything anyone had ever seen before.”

The film was formerly titled SNL 1975 before switching to Saturday Night.
