Kynlee’s journey into the entertainment world is nothing short of remarkable. A chance meeting at LA Models turned into a pivotal moment when an entertainment director spotted her potential and signed her for theatrical roles. Since then, she’s been on an upward trajectory, quickly securing roles in commercials, print campaigns, and films. Her growing list of credits includes short films like All Saints Day, Red Lilies, and Sally, Get the Potatoes. Most notably, Kynlee stars in the upcoming holiday film The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, distributed by Lionsgate, where she plays the unforgettable Gladys Herdman. The film is set for release on November 8, 2024, and is already generating buzz for Kynlee’s standout performance.

What sets Kynlee apart in Hollywood is her ability to seamlessly blend entertainment and authenticity at such a young age. In a world where child actors can feel over-polished or overly rehearsed, Kynlee brings a fresh and natural energy to every role she takes on. Her on-screen presence has that “it” factor—magnetic, effortless, and impossible to ignore. Whether she’s bringing a character to life on set or engaging her audience on social media, Kynlee’s genuine love for performance shines through.

Beyond the screen, Kynlee is also building a strong social media following, with over 354K TikTok followers and 1 million Instagram fans who follow her journey from auditions to film sets. Her content gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be a rising star in Hollywood while balancing a busy life as a gymnast training for Olympic dreams. With her vibrant personality and fearless drive, she’s not just building a brand—she’s shaping the next generation of entertainment.

Kynlee’s rapid rise isn’t just about talent—it’s also about a strong foundation rooted in her close-knit family and unwavering faith. Her mother actively manages her social media and career, ensuring every decision aligns with Kynlee’s values while keeping her grounded. This balance of ambition and authenticity is rare and refreshing in the fast-paced world of Hollywood, making Kynlee a true standout.

Hi Kynlee, welcome to OLC! Can you tell us about your first experience with acting? What was it like when you were signed for theatrical work at just five years old?

When I was 5 years old, I started doing commercials, and then I got to be in some short films! It was so exciting because I love being in front of the camera. After that, I did some voiceovers and then I got cast in my first movie! I felt like a real Hollywood actress! I was so happy and felt like all my dreams were starting to come true.

How do you balance your time between acting, gymnastics training, and schoolwork? What does a typical day look like for you?

My days are super busy! I wake up really early because we have a long drive to gymnastics, like two hours. I eat my breakfast in the car on the way. When I get to gymnastics, I train for three hours because I’m working hard to be an Olympic gymnast one day. Then I go to school, and after that, I have lunch. After lunch, I do another three hours of gymnastics, so I can keep getting better. When that’s done, we drive home, and then I do my homework. It’s a lot, but I love both gymnastics and acting, so it’s worth it!

You have a huge following on social media. How do you use these platforms to inspire other young athletes and performers?

On social media, like TikTok and Instagram, I just share videos of me doing the things I love, like gymnastics and acting. I think it’s important to show that if you work hard and have fun, you can do amazing things. I hope other kids see my videos and feel like they can follow their dreams, too! It’s all about being positive and doing what makes you happy.

What has been your favorite role to play so far, and why?

I loved playing Gladys Herdman in the movie The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! She’s so different from me because she’s the bad kid, and I’m really not like that in real life. But it was fun to act like her because I got to be wild and mischievous. I think it’s fun to play characters that are the opposite of who you are because you get to try something totally new.

Can you share what it was like to work on ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ with Lionsgate? How did you prepare for your role?

It was amazing working with Lionsgate because it felt like I was in a real Hollywood movie! To get ready for my role as Gladys, I worked with my acting coach, and we practiced a lot of different scenes. I loved being on set, and everyone was so nice. I learned so much from the experience, and now I feel even more confident as an actress!

Do you have any role models that inspire you?

Yes! My biggest role model is Simone Biles. She’s the best gymnast ever, and I want to be just like her! I hope that one day I can have a special gymnastics skill named after me, just like she does. She works so hard, and she always stays positive, which is what I try to do in both gymnastics and acting.

How has your family supported you in your journey, both in acting and gymnastics?

My family helps me a lot, especially my dad and my mom! My dad works really hard so my mom is available to drive me to my gymnastics practices and my acting auditions, and she helps me with my social media so I can inspire other kids. My three older brothers are also really proud of me, and they’re my biggest cheerleaders. I’m lucky to have such a supportive family that believes in me and helps me with everything I do.

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far in your career, and how did you overcome it?

I don’t really think about challenges too much because I love what I do, so everything feels like fun! Sometimes it can be hard to balance gymnastics, acting, and schoolwork, but I just focus on having fun and doing my best. When I love something, it doesn’t feel like work, so I just enjoy every part of it!

You’ve been involved in child pageantry as well. How has that experience helped you in your acting and gymnastics? What skills have you learned from pageants that you use in your daily life?

Being in pageants has really helped me in both acting and gymnastics. I learned how to have confidence on stage, which helps me when I’m performing in front of people. It’s also taught me how to do public speaking, which is really helpful when I’m doing interviews or talking to people about my work. Plus, it’s made me feel brave, like I can handle anything!

What are your goals for the future? Do you see yourself pursuing acting, gymnastics, or maybe a combination of both?

I want to do both acting and gymnastics! I know being good as both sounds a little crazy, but I want to go to the Olympics for gymnastics and win a gold medal, and I also want to be in lots of movies and have my own TV series. I think it’s possible to do both if I work hard and keep having fun. I love both gymnastics and acting, so I want to keep doing them for as long as I can!
