Deadline reports that Kaley Cuoco will star in Kansas City Star, a new half-hour comedy series from Hacks creators Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky.
Not much is known so far about Kansas City Star,’ but Deadline’s sources describe it as a “comedy with heart starring Cuoco as a semi-famous actress who returns to her hometown to work with a regional theater troupe. Kansas City Star is expected to get a series order, and Warner Bros. Television will be the studio. Cuoco will executive produce through her Yes, Norman banner.
