Anne Hathaway and Dave Bautista have officially signed on for the leading roles in Amazon MGM Studios and The Russo Brothers‘ Wedding Sting. Hathaway and Bautista will also serve as producers. Wedding Sting will be written by Jonathan Tropper, who also wrote The Adam Project which was a Netflix film.
“The story will be refashioned into a mismatched partner story of two undercover FBI agents with radically different styles being forced to pretend to cohabitate. Initially, they detest one another. By the end they learn to respect each other as the case winds to a close,” reads the initial synopsis.
This film is actually inspired by a real life FBI sting, involving agents who pretend to be a couple in order to infiltrate global criminal enterprises.
