Musica Mexicana sensation Xavi and corridos newcomer Netón Vega come together once again for the release of “Hija de Papi,” out today. The infectious track captures the essence of young love, late nights, and the magnetic pull of a girl who has it all—and knows it. Laced with witty lyrics and smooth production, the song paints a vivid portrait of a girl who’s spoiled and unforgettable. From designer bags and black cards to chaotic nights and situationships, “Hija de Papi” is a high-energy anthem that showcases the undeniable chemistry between Xavi and Netón.
The hype for “Hija de Papi” has been building steadily since Xavi teased the track on TikTok, where it quickly took off thanks to instantly quotable lines like “se viste bien fresa, es hija de papi” and “carita de Barbie, cuerpazo de Bratz.” The snippet sparked a wave of user-generated content, turning anticipation into a full-on fan frenzy.
Their second collaboration, “Hija de Papi” follows “Cuando Me Ocupes” from Netón’s debut EP and arrives at a time when both artists are seeing meteoric growth in their careers. Earlier this year, Xavi took home his first-ever iHeartRadio Music Award for “Best New Artist – Regional Mexican”. He was also nominated for “Artist of the Year – Regional Mexican” and “Regional Mexican Song of the Year,” solidifying his place at the forefront of the genre, while Netón Vega was named Billboard’s “Latin Artist on the Rise” for February.
The release comes on the heels of Xavi’s single “En Privado” featuring Manuel Turizo, which has already amassed more than 191.4 million global streams and spent seven weeks on the Spotify Mexico chart. Fresh off standout performances and wins at Premio Lo Nuestro, Xavi continues to expand his reach across Latin music, pushing sonic boundaries while staying rooted in emotion and authenticity.

breakout Texan folk singer-songwriter Chance Peña returns with Song From Yesterday – a gently powerful new single that captures the ache of emotional disconnect and the silent unraveling of change in someone close to you.
Rooted in folk-tinged acoustic textures, Song From Yesterday explores the spiraling thoughts and subtle unease that arise when a relationship begins to shift. Peña’s signature mellow tone and introspective lyricism offer a raw, moving experience, one that feels as cathartic for the artist as it does for the listener.

New Orleans musician Sleep Habits, the moniker of Alan Howard, is excited to announce his new EP, Mourning Doves, available May 10, 2025 via NOLA’s DIY scenemaker Kiln Recordings. Out now is lead single, “Antique Mall,” which reflects on the tendency to treasure and archive memories, clinging to conceptions of the past even as life continues to shift. Today’s release aims to make sense of that burden through a combination of hazy, mellow acoustics and focused synths, merging feelings of old and new to reach a point of understanding. The impending EP was heavily influenced by Killers and Stars by Patterson Hood, featuring live recordings and sparse reflections on the past.
“At the time I wrote this song, I was coming to terms with the fact that you can’t carry everything with you throughout your life,” Howard reflects on “Antique Mall.” “The physical space of the antique mall symbolizes that feeling. With that symbol as its base, the song explores allowing yourself to hold onto the reverence of memory and acknowledge how it has shaped you, while letting go of the idealistic sense of the ‘good ol’ days’.”

“I have always loved big, anthemic songs,” says Eric Sage. “There’s nothing like when they’re played at a concert or sporting event and the crowd goes wild. ‘Canadian Beer’ had that feeling right away. With this important movement to ‘Buy Canadian’, I feel like the song is more powerful than ever! After I released the song last year, I received many requests for a ‘Party Remix’ and now seemed like the right time to do it. In these trying times, what’s better than cracking open a cold one? Geepers! has released his debut album Snoozin’, a sonically uplifting and artistically vulnerable piece composed of thirteen tracks tackling the constant feeling of tiredness leaving you drained by the day. With its flowy, storylike feel, Geepers! takes the time to reflect on the annoying nuances thrown our way day by day, utilizing his own life journey and worries, fears, and stressors. Each song encapsulates a personal theme within his own life through his defined and unique sonic landscape. Snoozin’ is now available to stream and download worldwide.
Snoozin’ is a funky and lively album that explores the reason why Geepers! is constantly depleted, asking himself: “Why am I feeling this way, and what conclusion can I come to in order to alleviate this?” Geepers! initiates a listening experience through an alternative indie-pop soundscape with his audience by keeping it nostalgic and fresh, yet with a sunny poignant touch. Alluring listeners from the opening intro “Dedication” and offering a sonic preview of what’s to come, Geepers! sets the tone for the album right from the start. He then transitions into “Talk About,” a track that sparks a nostalgic, childlike joy, before launching into the shout-along anthem “Work!” Fan favorites “Lavender” and “Fine Line” also make an appearance, bringing back the familiar head-bopping, bubbly energy that defines his signature playful sound. While every track showcases his thought-provoking, intimate, and raw lyrics about life’s many twists and turns, this is especially evident in singles like “VelveTeen,” “Forecast,” “Home Team,” “I’m Cool, If You’re Cool With It,” and “Your Chest.” Slowing things down in “Sweater,” Geepers! reveals a more vulnerable side, setting aside his usual funkadelic tone for a heartfelt piano ballad. The stripped-back arrangement lets his voice take center stage, delivering emotion with striking intimacy. “Lint” serves as an elated bop tonally, but lyrically is deep where in-depth listening is vital. With a joyful ending in the title track, “Snoozin’,” Geepers! goes full force, producing a song that gets to the point and concludes the story that is Snoozin’. “Every day I seem to wake up more tired than the last. Snoozin’ is my examination of why,” Geepers! explains. “It’s a playful, honest dive into all the little anxieties, distractions, and overthinking that leave me drained, with one simple conclusion: sometimes it’s just easier to hit snooze and stay under the covers.” Snoozin’ was written, recorded, mixed, and produced by Edison Roberts, and mastered by Garrison Roberts, an all-in effort that defines rising indie-pop artist Geepers! as he carves out a name and space for himself in the music industry.

Rising Australian pop star Orlando Kallen (OK) is set to release his highly anticipated new single, “Don’t Worry Baby,” today for his birthday. Brothers, Tanner and Peyton Whitt, performing as the adrenalized alt-pop duo RAGS AND RICHES, bring high energy hope to inspire a generation of dreamers. Hailing from Lexington, Kentucky, these brothers aren’t just making music—they’re crafting anthems that ignite souls.
Their latest single “Hush” was written after witnessing the unraveling of a shocking situation with someone the duo was close to for years. The brothers confide, “For a long time, we trusted and looked up to him, someone who held immense power and influence within their community. But behind closed doors, it was revealed that he had been using his position to manipulate and take advantage of vulnerable women and girls. His actions, hidden for so long, finally came to light, and the consequences were devastating. The lyrics are a reflection of the anger and frustration we felt watching him lie and deny his wrongdoings, even after everything came crashing down. He lost his wife and kids, but continued to claim that he did nothing wrong, refusing to take responsibility for the harm he caused. It was a surreal experience to witness someone in such a respected position completely crumble, all while hiding behind his lies.”
“Hush” is a commentary on secrets, power, and the eventual truth that always finds its way to the surface. The line “I know what you did last summer” encapsulates that feeling of knowing what someone has done but not being able to stop them—until it’s too late. It’s a reminder that lies and manipulations may hold up for a while, but the truth always has a way of coming out, no matter how hard someone tries to keep it buried. In the end, this song is about facing the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable, and holding people accountable for their actions. It’s a way of reclaiming the power that was taken away and refusing to let those who abuse their position get away with it.
“Hush” and their previous single “Yes We Will (Mob Squad)” are off of an upcoming EP which marks a new chapter for RAGS AND RICHES. Unlike anything they’ve written before, their new sound blends hip-hop, pop and alternative into one. Covering themes of controversy, the duo reveal real-life, vulnerable stories, from breakups and affairs, to liars and backstabbers.
