Maren Morris – “be a bitch”: Maren Morris recently released the deluxe edition of her fourth studio album “D R E A M S I C L E”, and with it came the newest track “be a bitch”. The track was written by Jimmy Robbins, Laura Veltz, and Maren Morris. Produced by Jimmy Robbins and Maren Morris.

Maren Morris said of the song, “After telling my friends in the session about a recent traumatic dating story, I said everything that became a lyric: ‘my reputation precedes me, your hairline recedes you’ thinking nothing would ever actually go into our song that day, because it’s ‘too mean.’ then I realized I occasionally water my thoughts down to spare a person’s feelings. Who is that helping? the person who hurt you that you’ll never see again, or is it empowering you to take back your humor of a situation? I don’t need to be a pristine heroine you screwed over, I deserve to be mad and eternalize that ego bruise into song. “be a bitch” is for anyone who ever let themselves down by being too nice to someone who was going to take advantage either way.”

LANY – “Know You Naked”: Pop-rock act LANY dropped their latest single, “Know You Naked,” from their upcoming album Soft due this October. Speaking about Learn To Love, Zoe explains “In this song, it’s about letting go and realizing that love alone isn’t always enough. I wrote it during a very dark phase of my life, and through it I found the courage to set myself free and discovering self‑love as my greatest strength for the first time.

“This collaboration is a dream come true for me“ Zoe adds regarding her collaboration with Dean Lewis. “There’s been a deep mutual respect between us for years, he even covered my very first song, Control, early in my career, which I’ll never forget. He’s one of the most emotionally honest artists I’ve met, and being able to share such a personal song with him is a true honor.”

Dean also added “I’ve known about Zoe’s exceptional voice for some time. She supported me in Germany a few years ago where we first connected, but I had been aware of her covers sometime before that.”
