Australian pop phenomenon Ruel announces the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album, Kicking My Feet, arriving October 17 via Giant Music. Available for pre-order HERE. Alongside this announcement, he shares a brand-new single, “The Suburbs” – listen HERE – a dreamy, emotionally rich bop with some of the industry’s top names involved in its making. Ruel took over Apple Music Radio yesterday from their brand-new Los Angeles studios, debuting “The Suburbs” alongside two unreleased tracks and officially announcing Kicking My Feet.

“The Suburbs” is written by Ruel with collaborators Fran Hall (Charli XCX, Kelly Clarkson), M-Phazes (Demi Lovato, Madonna), Chelsea Lena (Sabrina Carpenter, Joji) and Elias Danielsen. The song is an ode to intimacy and imagining a simpler life with the one you love. With lyrics like “I can see us in the Suburbs, Never thought I’d be that person, but with you it sounds like paradise” Ruel taps into a soft vulnerability that builds on the expansive pop vision he introduced with his previous single, “I Can Die Now.”

It’s been pretty daunting to offer up this level of honesty in my songwriting but seeing the way it’s already connected so personally with fans has calmed my ‘pre-album’ nerves in a huge way – Ruel

Nova Scotia rock trio The Boojums are proud to announce their self-titled debut album, set for release on 31 October, 2025 via Having Fun Records, a new imprint of Toronto’s We Are Busy Bodies. The first single, “Wings of Fire,” lands on August 21, delivering a revved-up blend of garage grit, power-pop hooks, and ‘70s arena-rock swagger.

Salt Lake City indie pop artist Mykel announces her driving debut EP Hometown Runaway due out November 6. Alongside the announcement, the artist shares the project’s first taste with “Brace For Impact,” out now, a heartfelt recollection of a near-fatal car accident. On September 6, the artist and beverage aficionado will partner with Couplet Cafe in Downtown Los Angeles for a custom beverage to celebrate the new music.

With commanding vocals and sweeping, vast production over six tracks, Mykel bravely confronts a range of themes like ego death (and escaping death), self-worth, imposter syndrome, her layered relationship to faith, and more. Messy, grounded and bittersweet, the artist chronicles the challenges of leaving home in pursuit of her dreams, with assists from GRAMMY-nominated producer and mixer Yang Tan (Janelle Monae) and 3x RIAA-certified producer and engineer Gehring Miller (Giveon, Ella Mai) and recorded at LA’s iconic Record Plant Studios.

Ready to give up, it took hitting rock bottom for Mykel to rediscover her artistic purpose and direction. Hometown Runaway, a rich mix of pop with R&B flairs, allows the artist the space to discover and define herself like never before as she embraces her past and looks ahead to the future, this time, with a renewed perspective and appreciation for life. Finally releasing the pressure of unattainable standards she’s placed on herself, Mykel shares, “I knew I wanted to take all the nuances of my journey and put it into a body of work that represented me. Not what the industry or society wanted of me or told me would sell. This EP is a beacon of truth and integrity that has both freed and terrified me.”

Kent Jamz, an artist celebrated for transforming real emotion into cinematic R&B, unveils “Patience, an alluring new single out now via Epic Records that plays like an intimate confession. Sultry and unhurried, it is layered with longing, vulnerability, and the magnetic pull of deep connection, offering a preview of the emotional depth at the heart of his forthcoming EP.

Mariah The Scientist has stamped her explosive 2025 campaign with the release of her brand new album, HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, the highly anticipated opus from R&B’s preeminent new superstar, out now.

The 10-track opus includes executive production by Nineteen85 and features the two hit singles Mariah released this year, “Burning Blue” and the Kali Uchis-featured “Is It a Crime?” The two hit singles account for the first dual occupancy of the Billboard Hot 100 of Mariah’s career, including the Top 25 hit “Burning Blue.”

The build-up to HEARTS SOLD SEPARATELY, Mariah’s fourth studio album and second since joining Epic Records in 2023, included the bombshell album trailer, a short film starring Michelle “Chelley” Bissainthe (Love Island USA), Hip Hop star Karrahbooo and Mariah’s sister and manager, Morgan Buckles

three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum powerhouse Tori Kelly releases “Make A Baby” featuring R&B innovator Lucky Daye, the highly anticipated single that she first teased in her headline-making pregnancy reveal. The organically soulful duet rings in a new era of Tori Kelly music as she continues her European arena tour with Ed Sheeran.

Madelline is on the rise as one of pop’s most daring and original voices. Crafting left-of-center lyrical bops that tackle heavy topics like life, death, and mental health, Madelline uses her witty lyricism and theatrical stage presence to captivate audiences with her blend of music, dance, and performance art – as much ‘catwalk’ as it is ‘cabaret’.

Her music has struck a chord online, leading to several viral moments across Instagram and TikTok, and earning her a dedicated following of nearly half a million monthly listeners. Most notably, her bilingual double-single “dopamine” has amassed over 15 million streams, while her dance pop anthem “I’m Only Here for the Beat” topped Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart at #1. Described as the love child of Lily Allen, Marina, Taylor Swift, with a spoonful of Ashnikko, Madelline brings a fresh, fun energy to pop that makes her live performances unforgettable.

Singer-songwriter Alexis Plaen has announced her upcoming album, Enjoy the Void, due out on October 10th. Chronicling Alexis’s confrontation with existential uncertainty, the album tells the epic narrative of her search for meaning, tracing a transformative journey inward. In the face of chaos, Alexis morphs between pop, rock, electronic, and cinematic influences as her powerful vocals deliver stories and struggles from the depths of the void.

Speaking on the album, Alexis comments: “I think of the void as that mental space you go to when you’re pursuing answers to existential questions.” For Alexis, Enjoy the Void is more than a means of grappling with life’s greatest questions; it’s a path to self-resolution.

UK Country sensations First Time Flyers release their brand new single ‘Primadonna’, out now.

The song has been a fan favorite in their live shows for a while now. “It seemed like the obvious choice as the single we release before our debut album Bound To Break comes out in September”, explains Poppy from the band.

The song was written about someone they met in the music industry, prompting the observation that everyone has a bit of Primadonna in them!

“We’ve been asked many times to say who the song is about” reveals Vicki“Maybe we will if our album goes top 10” she jokes.

Released on August 22nd to coincide with the band’s three performances over the weekend at Long Road Festival, Tim from the band says, ‘I think we enjoy playing the song as much as the fans enjoy hearing it’.

Dublin-born multidisciplinary artist EDEN unveils his sixth studio album, ‘Dark’ – an abstract, sonically rich exploration that pushes the boundaries of experimental pop. Soaked in synths and elevated by layered electronic textures, the album interchanges elements of pop and R&B through a dense soundscape that unfolds over 13 tracks. Reflective, contemporary, and urgent, ‘Dark’ captures the unease and introspection of modern life – a world shaped by technology, shadowed by anxiety yet bound by love. With ‘Dark’, EDEN builds an immersive universe that mirrors the complexities of the present moment.
