Following the news of their long-awaited reunion, multi-Platinum California alt-rock icons The Neighbourhood are celebrating a decade of their breakthrough album “Wiped Out!” with a 10th Anniversary Edition, out now via Legacy Recordings and Columbia Records.

Originally released in 2015, “Wiped Out!” cemented The Neighbourhood as one of the most distinctive voices in modern alternative music — a record that blurred the lines between surf-rock melancholy, atmospheric R&B, and brooding pop.

The expanded 10th Anniversary Edition reintroduces the 11-track classic with 11 additional songs, including demos, memos, and remixes that offer a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the “Wiped Out!” sessions. Highlights include Syd’s remix of the fan-favorite “Daddy Issues,” along with raw early versions of “The Beach,” “Greetings From Califournia,” and “R.I.P. 2 My Youth.”

To mark the milestone, The Neighbourhood have launched a pop-up store in East Hollywood, featuring exclusive merch and a limited run of 1,000 hand-numbered, colored vinyl copies of the album. Fans can also pre-order the black vinyl edition (global release: January 30) at shop.thenbhd.com.

With over a decade of platinum success behind them — from their double platinum debut “I Love You.” to hits like “Sweater Weather” (16x Platinum) and “Daddy Issues” (5x Platinum) — The Neighbourhood’s legacy continues to evolve. Their upcoming new album, “(((((ultraSOUND))))),” arrives November 14, ushering in an exciting new chapter for the band that helped define the sound of 2010s alt-pop.

Pop icon and multi-hyphenate artist Willa Ford is keeping the fire burning with two new remixes of her latest single “Burn Burn,” reimagined by DJs Jayem and Triple XL. Both versions amplify the song’s pulse-pounding energy and showcase Ford’s signature, larger-than-life vocals — merging her renewed artistic drive with club-ready momentum.

The release follows the massive excitement around Ford’s comeback single — her first new music in over 20 years.

To celebrate, Ford lit up The Abbey in Los Angeles on October 17 with a one-night-only performance, making a show-stopping entrance dressed by Christian Siriano. The event marked a full-circle return for the early-2000s hitmaker, earning coverage from People Magazine, Entertainment Tonight, and a debut spin on KIIS-FM, while landing her on Spotify’s Obsessed playlist cover.

Built around Ford’s hypnotic vocals and darkly shimmering production, “Burn Burn” transforms personal reflection into a blazing anthem of empowerment and renewal.

Written after rediscovering her musical passion during songwriting sessions in 2023, the track signals a bold new chapter for the artist who first stormed the charts with her Top 40 hit “I Wanna Be Bad.”

Beyond music, Ford — a classically trained opera singer — has built a multifaceted career in acting, television, production, and interior design. But with “Burn Burn” and its vibrant new remixes, she’s returning to her roots — reclaiming her place in pop with more music on the horizon.

Two-time GRAMMY® nominees The Miró Quartet are ushering in the holiday season — and their 30th anniversary year — with “Hearth,” a luminous new album arriving November 28 via PENTATONE.

Today, the acclaimed Austin-based ensemble shares the first single, an original arrangement of the Appalachian carol “I Wonder as I Wander” by composer Reena Esmail.

“Hearth” brings together a stellar lineup of today’s leading composers — each contributing fresh, personal takes on beloved holiday classics.

The result is a rich tapestry of sound spanning centuries and continents, from Clarice Assad’s joyful “In Dulci Jubilo” to Michi Wiancko’s playful “Jingle Bells,” Gabriel Kahane’s introspective halfspent (lo, how a rose…), and Sam Lipman’s moving “Ma’oz Tzur” (Rock of Ages). Each piece reflects the composer’s own heritage and memories of the season, blending Medieval melodies, Texas fiddle flair, and even West African rhythms.

“We really think the diversity and variety of voices heard and memories shared on this album will represent the many ways we all celebrate and share the holidays together, and the huge range of what the holidays can mean to each one of us,” Miró violist John Largess wrote. “The Miró Quartet is so grateful to all our composer friends for these precious musical gifts, and we are so pleased to share the warmth of our Hearth and our Hearts with you through music during this holiday season.”

The release follows a banner year for the Miró Quartet, whose recent albums “Home” and “Ginastera String Quartets” (both on PENTATONE) earned widespread acclaim and multiple GRAMMY® nominations.

As the quartet continues to expand the chamber repertoire through collaborations with composers like Kevin Puts, Caroline Shaw, and Gabriel Kahane, Hearth captures their enduring spirit of innovation — wrapped in the glow of holiday tradition.

Rising pop-singer Laura Pieri brings her month of Halloween storytelling to a fiery close with the release of her seductive new single, “Just a Little,” out today on all streaming platforms.

Born in São Paulo and based in New York City, Pieri continues to carve out a space that’s wholly her own in modern pop — melding music, performance, and art into one cohesive vision.

Throughout October, Pieri has leaned into her flair for cinematic storytelling, reimagining iconic tracks through a darkly feminist lens — Lady Gaga’s “Marry the Night” (The Vampire), Charli XCX’s “party 4 u” (The Siren), and Rihanna’s “Disturbia” (The Werewolf).

Each release explored a different archetype of feminine power, unfolding across haunting visuals, Substack essays, and her immersive annual Halloween bash at The Box in New York.

Now, “Just a Little” brings that creative universe to its climactic peak. Hypnotic and intoxicating, the track dives into the tension between temptation and control — an anthem for those who dance with danger but never lose their footing.

“I’ve always struggled with feeling like I’m too much, like I don’t belong, like being this way made me broken,” Pieri shared. “‘Just a Little’ became a kind of reclamation, not just of desire, but of self-permission. It’s the moment I stopped trying to edit my instincts to fit someone else’s moral architecture. Because aren’t we all, just a little sinful?”

The single marks a new chapter for Pieri, following “Frankie (ON THE DANCEFLOOR)” — the club-ready companion to her acclaimed 2024 EP “Frankie” — which reframed her story of survival as one of empowerment and release.

French indie-pop artist Mélanie Pain — the unmistakable voice of Nouvelle Vague — unveiled her luminous new single “Dreamloop,” out now via Kwaidan Records. The track offers the first glimpse of her upcoming solo album “How and Why,” due November 2025, and captures Pain’s gift for weaving light and shadow into elegant, emotional pop.

Built around hypnotic percussion, warm folk textures, and touches of psychedelia, “Dreamloop” evokes the retro-futurist beauty of Stereolab, Broadcast, and The Velvet Underground.

Beneath its shimmering surface lies an intimate reflection on cyclical thoughts and the quiet ache of watching someone you love lose themselves to darkness.

“Dreamloop is a refuge-song,” Mélanie shares. “It’s a spell to navigate the night — a delicate exploration of depression and the mental states that confine us.”

Recorded live with her band — Raphaël Chassin (drums), Oliver Smith (bass), Jérôme Plasseraud (guitar, mellotron), and Alexis Anérilles (piano) — the track captures the intimacy and spontaneity of musicians creating in real time.

Pain’s signature voice floats through the mix with soft precision, equal parts tender and transcendent.

With “How and Why,” which is deemed as her most personal album yet, Mélanie Pain continues to define modern French pop on her own terms — fusing acoustic warmth, poetic introspection, and effortless sophistication into something timeless.

The Sydney-based indie trio Valley Onda released their debut album “Middle Way,” out today via Valley Onda Records, with the ethereal new single “Seraph” leading the charge.

The band — Jordan Wilson (vocals, guitar), Michiya Nagai (keys), and Galen Sultmann (drums) — have steadily built a reputation for crafting introspective, immersive soundscapes that blur the lines between alternative rock and indie electronica.

Early singles “Minacious” and “Reebok Fantasy” offered a glimpse into “Middle Way” and its sonic universe, earning premieres from CLASH Magazine and EARMILK, plus radio support from NPR Music.

Born from post-tour limbo and an unexpected restaurant encounter between Wilson and Sultmann, Valley Onda’s chemistry deepened with the addition of Nagai — a classically trained pianist and electronic producer. The trio’s sound fuses organic instrumentation and digital textures, echoing influences from Radiohead, Alt-J, Bon Iver, Mansionair, and Gorillaz.

The album’s focus track, “Seraph,” trades in rock riffs for drum machines, ambient atmospherics, and hypnotic vocal loops, building into a celestial swell of reverb and rhythm. Fans of Feathered Sun and The Acid can expect to find plenty to love in its dreamy, transcendental sound.

“‘Middle Way’ is the boisterous combination of three unique creative minds,” the band shared. “We knew we wanted to harmonise organic instruments with technology and the electric world; a feat as grand as Robert M. Pirsig’s classic novel ‘Zen & The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance.’ ‘Fishin’’ screams out like one big om from the universe, whilst tracks like ‘Seraph’ moves with cyclical rhythm and warm synths. There’s certainly an intensity to the album, but one we hope we match with joyous celebration.”

With “Middle Way,” Valley Onda channeled years of collaboration, experimentation, and live energy into a debut that feels both intimate and expansive — a testament to finding balance between the organic and the electronic, the grounded and the transcendent.

London-based singer-songwriter Shao Hao returned with “Where Is My Home,” the lead single from his forthcoming debut UK EP. The track is a stirring, unflinchingly honest reflection on identity, belonging, and the search for self in a world that often demands you choose sides.

Written as a deeply personal confession, “Where Is My Home” captures Shao’s lifelong struggle to fit in. Moving from China to the UK at just 17 to study music, Shao has now spent over a decade in London — long enough to become a British citizen, yet still caught between two worlds.

“Even now, sometimes I feel caught between two worlds – too British to be fully Chinese, yet sometimes not seen as British enough by others,” he said. “This song reflects that journey, how I chased my dreams, left everything behind, and yet found myself asking: ‘Where do I truly belong?’”

Musically, “Where Is My Home” bridges cultures as deftly as it does genres — blending the gritty storytelling of Britpop with the anthemic energy of K-pop. Layers of punchy bass, warm piano, and soaring synths mirror Shao’s emotional duality, while his silky, yearning vocals sit front and center.

But ultimately, “Where Is My Home” is a song about empowerment — about realizing that difference itself can be home.

A decade ago, Shao first made waves after winning a national songwriting competition with a demo recorded at London’s legendary Roundhouse, where he spent two years as a resident artist. The win led to a publishing deal in Taiwan — and a whirlwind career writing for some of Asia’s biggest names. His credits include Stefanie Sun (whose tour theme song he penned for her 2025 Asia run, now performed for over half a million fans), Power Station (Top 10 Mandarin Song at the Hito Music Awards), Angela Zhang, and Japan’s virtual pop collective V.W.P.

In 2024, Shao was nominated for Best Original Song at the Golden Bell Awards (Taiwan’s equivalent to the Emmys). Now, in 2025, he’s stepping fully into his role as an artist in his own right.

This year, Shao launched a school tour across the UK, performing for young audiences and previewing his new material. The response has been overwhelming.

“It’s so important for young people to know it’s OK to be a boy who’s attracted to other boys, it’s OK to feel as though you have a different gender inside of you, it’s OK to be autistic, it’s OK to have a disability,” he said. “I hope that when Gen Z fans hear my music, they realise we’re the people who can work together to build a better, kinder community for everyone.”

With “Where Is My Home,” Shao Hao delivers a moving statement of purpose — one that celebrates difference, resilience, and the beauty of living between worlds.
