The first trailer for The Boys debuted Saturday at CCXP in São Paulo, and the stakes have never been higher for Billy Butcher and his team. Following the shocking events of the season four finale, the United States is now under the iron grip of Homelander’s dictatorship. Adding to the chaos, Ashley Barrett appears to have taken on a chilling new role as Homelander’s White House press secretary — a nightmare scenario for journalists in this twisted world.
In the trailer, Karl Urban’s Butcher delivers a grim rallying cry to his crew: “You wouldn’t be the first throwing your life away in a war, but you’d be the first saving the world doing it.”
The series also received a new release timeline. The first two episodes will premiere on April 8, 2026, with the story building toward the series finale, set to air on May 20, 2026.
