Taylor Swift has unveiled a new song titled “I Knew It, I Knew You” for Toy Story 5. She collaborated with Jack Antonoff, who co-wrote and co-produced the track, with members of his band Bleachers contributing to the recording. Check out the song below.

In a statement earlier this week, Swift shared her excitement: “I’ve always dreamed of writing for these characters I’ve loved since I was a 5-year-old watching the original Toy Story. I fell in love with Toy Story 5 the moment I saw it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes, you just know, right?”
After releasing the song, she reflected: “Writing this track was both a departure and a return to my roots. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge, yet it also felt instinctive. As a Toy Story fan from age 5 to now, being part of this adventure is truly special—aiming for infinity and beyond.”

Toy Story 5’s director, Andrew Stanton, expressed his thoughts: “It’s amazing how meaningful it’s been having Taylor write and perform this song. Her connection to Jessie and her understanding of the character’s emotions were immediate and genuine. The song feels so intertwined with Toy Story that, upon first listen, it seemed like it had always belonged there—as if it were a long-lost family member. It was destined to be.”
