New York-based gothic folk singer-songwriter Kira McSpice shares “Wreckage”, the second and latest single from her upcoming album, The House, out this Friday, October 23 via Danger Collective. The artist’s record, her third full-length release in 2026, is the third installment of her four-part series, ‘A Return in 4 Parts,’ in which she documents a trance-like desert journey to a house that resembles McSpice’s childhood home in Harlem, GA.

“Wreckage” — a dark, chamber folk ballad that resembles a requiem — features McSpice’s expressive and captivating operatic vocals leading a ghostly choir. Lyrically, it finds her at the center of her psychic journey into her childhood, confronting the lingering pain head-on. “This song is about my parents’ fights and the abuse that would happen after school into the night, and how the next morning I would have to wake up by myself and walk to the bus stop still feeling everything that happened,” she admits. “I had a friend die from epilepsy during this time in my childhood; I was in the fifth grade. I remember standing at the bus stop and feeling all of it alone.”

Before a girl ever learns to question the way she looks, she watches the
women she loves do it first. On “Vanity,” the focus track from Nashville-based
Americana/rock artist Kara Hesse’s album Devil & the Dove, Hesse returns to one of her
earliest memories: her mother’s vanity—the embroidered seat, the scent of Chanel perfume
hanging in the room, the careful makeup, and the magazine pages showing her what beautiful

was supposed to look like. She remembers sitting there, taking in every move, too young to
understand that she wasn’t only watching her mother get ready. She was watching a woman
measure herself against an image.

Los Angeles-based indie-rock project brookelen creates music that weaves together orchestral arrangements, alternative rock, and intimate storytelling. Influenced by artists such as Fiona Apple, Björk, PJ Harvey, and Liz Phair, her songs create space for healing, reckoning, and emotional release. Through poetic lyricism and dynamic instrumentation, brookelen’s work explores identity, recovery, faith, queerness, and the complicated beauty of becoming. dark side of the sun is her third EP and first release with Soliloquy Records.

British alternative artist SICKY, the solo project of North England-born now Shropshire-based musician MICK BUTLER (of SUMO and Papa Mantra), embraces the mischievous side of fun with ‘Mort’, an offbeat track inspired by Terry Pratchett’s beloved Discworld novel “MORT”. Blending infectious, Britpop-infused indie rock with a wicked sense of humour, SICKY serves up a delightfully macabre tale that’s packed with attitude and humour. Previewing his fourth album ‘Redland’, following the chaotic ‘Bubblegum Party’, this record explores darker territory, including friendships lost along the way, SICKY’s knack for pairing catchy hooks with wonderfully crooked charm remains very much alive.

The video stars Lily as the Grim Reaper, as she tackles the mundanity of human life, mirroring Pratchett’s tale of Death taking a sabbatical from soul collecting. Lily’s pint-sized harbinger of doom going about ordinary business — with predictably eyebrow-raising results. Butler recalls that a miniature Death wielding a scythe in a supermarket was enough to turn a few heads.‘Mort’ is a wickedly catchy reminder that even the Grim Reaper deserves a day off — although perhaps not a trip to the supermarket.

Using his prodigious rhyme skills to tell his incredible story, 18-year-old Palestinian rapper MC Abdul is a man on a mission. Culminating a journey that started when he filmed himself rapping atop rubble in Gaza, Abdul shares Day By Day, Shway Shway, his highly-anticipated debut album. Day By Day, Shway Shway marks the arrival of a major force in global music, telling the story of his traumatic past, his bustling present, and his promising future. The album features cinematic instrumentals, with production from !llmind, ReeceBeats, Danny Hajj, Djamil, and many others, combining hip-hop, Afrobeats, and Middle Eastern sounds, creating a sweeping drama that suits Abdul’s incredible story and gives a sense of grandeur to his slice-of-life rhymes.

Across nine tracks, Abdul chronicles his journey from Gaza to San Francisco, drawing parallels between his new life and the one he left behind to pursue his art. He left home at just 15-years-old, but Gaza is always on his mind. Told in three parts, album opener “Is It Real?” illustrates the dreamlike nature of his changing life: the first part details his journey from Gaza to Egypt in a bus with his father and Teta (grandmother), culminating in a seven-hour detention at the U.S. border in California; the second is a document of his survivor’s guilt, as he witnesses the beginning of the Genocide from afar, unable to reach his family; the third part, and album closer, features a moment of catharsis, as Abdul is finally able to reach his mother on the phone, and begin the process to bring her to safety in his new home of California.

“Is It Real?” provides a thematic narrative that ties together Day By Day, Shway Shway, rooting it in Abdul’s physical and spiritual journey, even as Abdul aims to showcase his skills as an entertainer. Notable on the album are singles “Wein Abdul?,” a triumphant and confident banger purpose-built to invigorate hip-hop fans across the globe, and “Shway Shway, ” an Afrobeats-inflected anthem that urges listeners to overcome their pain, one day at a time. New highlight “Story” is both a war cry and a diary entry, commenting on Abdul’s gratitude for his safety, but fear that the new life that he’s built might come crashing down at any moment.

Shropshire-based singer-songwriter and performer Macy O brings together soulful pop, R&B and indie influences, drawing on the rich sounds of soul and Motown that shaped her musical upbringing. Her music combines powerful vocals with expressive songwriting and an energetic stage presence. Having explored a variety of genres throughout her career, from pop and R&B to dance music, Macy is now embracing the sounds that first inspired her, marking a new chapter in her musical journey.

Her new single, “Roll With Me Tonight”, offers a taste of her upcoming soul EP, Soul Searching. Exploring the excitement and uncertainty of an unexpected attraction, the song captures the internal struggle between playing it safe and surrendering to the moment. Musically, the track embraces a rich, sultry sound, with prominent bass, strings and piano complementing Macy’s powerful yet controlled vocals. Oozing with confidence and sensuality the song emphasises the message of trusting your instincts and allowing yourself to embrace new experiences. With its soulful sound and empowering energy, “Roll With Me Tonight” will appeal to fans of Olivia Dean, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder.

Soul Searching is set for release on November 27th via So, Let’s Talk / Moose Records, with distribution through Stem. The EP sees Macy return to the soul and Motown sounds she grew up listening to. Speaking about the inspiration behind the new music, she explains, “All the new music is all about discovering a part of yourself that was previously buried and finding inner peace through the realisation of your own strength.” Through the EP, Macy hopes to inspire others to be confident and sure in their feelings and subsequent decisions, and to embrace their strength and self-awareness.

With nearly a decade in the rap game under his belt, OMB Peezy has developed into a supremely well-rounded emcee, capable of rapping his ass off and singing his heart out on the same track. The Mobile, AL native takes his art into a self-assured and deeply personal place with Save Yourself, his brand new album. Spanning 15 tracks, the new album showcases Peezy’s veteran perspective, accrued over his years as a working rapper and father, dealing with love and loss, and offering valuable lessons about how to remain resilient amidst compounding hardships. Over a hard-hitting, piano-laden soundscape primarily created by Platinum producer Will-A-Fool, Peezy showcases his expressive vocals, his raw emotion giving power to his soulful lyrics. Along with the album, OMB Peezy shares the video album highlight “Need I Remind You,” out now on Peezy’s YouTube.

Save Yourself is home to Peezy’s standout recent singles, including “What She Wants” and “Save Your Life.” A collaboration with TDE’s Trap Dickey, “What She Wants” is a boss-life banger, featuring production by Chopsquad DJ, who flips TLC’s classic “No Scrubs” for Peezy and Dickey to prance upon. “Save Your Life” is a piano-laden ballad, interpolating The Fray’s “How To Save Your Life” as Peezy emotes atop rippling piano chords and processes his pain. The 15-track album adds new highlights, including the airy and defiant “Language Barrier,” and the confessional “Soul Leaving Out,” in which Peezy says: “Thugs can feel pain and be alone, too.”

Repping both the West and Gulf Coasts, OMB Peezy has been one of the most unique voices in rap since emerging in 2017, mixing his Southern drawl and instinctive melodics with NorCal flows and slang. The 28-year-old artist has released ten solo and collaborative albums, including 2021’s Too Deep For Tears, home to the remix to his GOLD single “Big Homie,” and most recently, Drifting Away, which dropped earlier this year. Peezy got an unexpected boost in late 2024 when his 2017, Drum Dummie-produced breakout hit “Lay Down” went viral on TikTok, generating over 150k video creations and inspiring a dance popular with the youngest generation. The revived success of “Lay Down” inspired a new remix, featuring GloRilla in late 2024. In 2025, Peezy dropped Diary of a Crashout, and its Deluxe, bringing collaborations with YFN Lucci, Anycia, Kocky Ka, Vory, and more. Most recently, Peezy kept the streets hot with BETTER AND BETTER, a motivational 13-track mixtape.

Moss’s  creative journey became more focused when he discovered the guitar. With relatively little to occupy his time in his hometown, Moss immersed himself in the instrument, frequently spending hours a day playing. His influences quickly became as eclectic as his musical ambitions, ranging from Bruce Springsteen, John Frusciante, Elliott Smith, Jim Croce, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine, and the Beach Boys to Eminem and Etta James.

Songwriting came to Moss initially through poetry. Around the age of 14, he began finding backing tracks and beats online and writing over them, developing his first instincts for creating melodies and expressing ideas through music. While he had struggled to connect with the piano, the guitar immediately felt intuitive. The instrument’s physicality and patterns resonated with him, and he became particularly captivated by the experience of playing a Stratocaster.

Before long, Moss was spending entire days listening to vinyl records and playing guitar, while simultaneously developing a vision for music as a profession. After graduating high school, Moss attended the University of Arizona, where his focus gradually shifted from academics toward music. He became involved in Tucson’s local music community, initially working as a sound engineer for a local band. After two years, he stepped away from the university and continued his musical education through online courses at Berklee College of Music.

A year later, Moss moved to Los Angeles to attend Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he continued developing his skills in guitar and music production. His approach to the instrument was shaped by a desire to create the impression of multiple instruments while performing alone, drawing inspiration from guitarists such as Jimi Hendrix and John Frusciante. He eventually adapted that approach to acoustic guitar, which became increasingly important to his sound after he began performing at open mics.

Moss’s original music resists easy categorization. His early releases draw heavily from folk Americana, pairing traditional songwriting sensibilities with modern production. Artists including Mumford & Sons, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, and Caamp provide reference points for his current sound, while his broader artistic ambitions extend into more atmospheric and dreamlike territory.

Looking ahead, Moss hopes to explore influences from artists such as Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Cigarettes After Sex, and Beach House, while experimenting with analog recording techniques.

At the center of Moss’s work is a commitment to authenticity. Rather than writing toward a particular trend or attempting to fit neatly into a genre, he aims to create music rooted in genuine experiences and emotions. His songs are ultimately an effort to preserve something meaningful from a temporary life: honest music that can endure beyond the moment in which it was created and continue to resonate with whoever discovers it.

REGGAE GIRLZ (2025) – Official Trailer | JOLT

Two titan forces of dreamy electronica and avant-garde music have officially collided in beautifully dark waters. Legendary Canadian electronic duo Delerium makes a triumphant return alongside iconic American avant-garde singer Diamanda Galás for their new single “Into The Light”.

Released via Metropolis Records, this arresting track serves as the hypnotic lead offering from “Exaudire” — Delerium’s highly anticipated 16th studio album, arriving in late January 2027. An opus of shadowy ethereal brilliance, “Into The Light” seamlessly fuses Delerium’s signature downtempo atmosphere with Galás’ unmistakable vocal power.

Founded in 1987 by the globally renowned duo of Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber, Delerium has spent nearly four decades shaping the global soundscape, evolving effortlessly from haunting ambient trance to lush, dark pop. This latest collaboration marks another monumental chapter in their legendary discography, wrapping listener senses in pure cinematic beauty.

Elevating the track to otherworldly heights is Diamanda Galás, a revolutionary performer who turned the human voice into an instrument of raw grief and rage. Renowned for her multi-octave range and uncompromising operatic aggression, Galás famously forged a dark, theatrical blueprint that challenged societal silence during the HIV/AIDS epidemic and human rights atrocities. Together with Delerium’s soundscapes, her visceral presence transforms “Into The Light” into an unforgettable sonic experience.

Los Angeles’ pen pin is the new sun-soaked indie pop project from songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Jeni Magaña and Emily Moore. The duo are both acclaimed in their own right for their solo works as Magana and Total Brutal, as well as for their collaborations and session/tour performances with artists like Mitski, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Charli xcx, Good Neighbours, Lady Lamb, Jade Bird and countless others.

Originally meeting while touring with Mitski, the duo’s fast friendship and joyful, natural chemistry inspired them to channel their mutual love of vintage pop into the creation of their upcoming debut album. As shown at their dreamy live shows and on singles like “Fringe” and “The Boredom,” the result of this “pen pinspiration” is a chill, hazy, retro sound that feels like lounging by a Palm Desert pool as afternoon becomes dusk.

Their new single “Vampire” is a dark indie pop banger. Jeni shares, “Vampire is about having someone in your life that loves you so much that you know they are always on your team. It’s about having someone you feel safe with in a world of peril and insecurity. If you’ve seen You’ve Got Mail, there’s a scene where Kathleen Kelly wishes she had come up with a comeback to an insult and then she finally does and realizes it feels horrible. I took that lesson to heart, and I try not to respond in any given moment with teeth, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t immediately call my husband or Emily and talk about all the mean things I *could* have said. It feels pretty good.” “Vampire” is the latest single off of their highly anticipated forthcoming album PONY UP!

American progressive rockers JACK’S MAZE present ‘The Edge’, a deeply moving song exploring loss, regret, and the enduring power of love in the face of grief. Originally formed in 1989, the New Jersey band made their mark on the New York tri-state rock scene before parting ways, eventually reuniting in 2021 to reconnect with their musical roots and finally release their long-unreleased debut album ‘Life In The Maze’ in 2024. This single follows the lead track ‘Let It Go’, opening their next chapter as they move towards their second album ‘Once In A Blue Moon’, due in January 2027 via RPM Entertainment.

‘The Edge’ is a heartfelt tribute to lost friends and bandmates, written by vocalist Frank Cinquegrana following the passing of band-mates Bill Snyder and Jimmy Gentilin earlier. Confronting the pain of loss, the weight of words left unsaid, and the regret of wondering whether more could have been done, ‘The Edge’ balances melodic progressive rock with emotionally charged storytelling, offering a poignant reminder that love and music can preserve shared bonds long after someone is gone, and that the most important thing we can do is reach out now, before it is too late.

Brooklyn-based drummer, percussionist, producer and composer Shai Wetzer releases “You
Can Hear It Your Own Way,” featuring Yuli Beeri, on 20th October 2026 via his independent
label Lahit.
The single is the title track from Shai Wetzer’s new album, “You Can Hear It Your Own Way,
Vol. 2” due out Tuesday 10th November, and follows the release of Volume One earlier this
year.
Chill, hypnotic and rooted in alternative indie and world fusion, the track is a response to an
increasingly divided world, creating an open, comforting space where listeners can leave
labels behind and experience the music on their own terms. Wetzer first sketched the melody
and orchestration 15 years ago, rediscovering the piece two years ago and bringing it to life
with live musicians. Featuring drums, frame drum, electric bass and guitar, trombone,
saxophone, trumpet and clarinet, with lyrics by Ariel Korman and Yuli Beeri on the single, the
song’s message is simple: you can hear it your own way !

Ulster singer‑songwriter, harpist and biologist Bróna McVittie returns this autumn with ‘Supernatural’, her fourth solo album and her most ambitious work to date: an immersive journey into the mythic imagination of Ireland and beyond. Released to coincide with Samhain, the ancient Irish festival when the veil between worlds grows thin, ‘Supernatural’ stands at the threshold between folklore and contemporary sound art, between ancestral memory and modern storytelling.

Born in County Down, Bróna McVittie has carved out a singular space in contemporary folk music. A trained biologist and a lifelong lover of mythology, she blends traditional song with nature‑infused lyricism and experimental soundscapes – an approach The Guardian praised for its ability to “take you on its wing and give you fresh visions”.

Across her three acclaimed albums: ‘We Are the Wildlife’ (2018), ‘The Man in the Mountain’ (2020) and ‘The Woman in the Moon’ (2022), McVittie has pioneered a form of cosmic folk, weaving harp, guitar, ethnic instrumentation and electronic textures into music that evokes birdsong, open skies and elemental forces. Her work has been championed by MOJO, Uncut, The Guardian, The Independent and BBC Radio, and she has performed at WOMAD, Celtic Connections, the National Concert Hall Dublin, Kings Place London and festivals across the UK and Ireland.

The ‘Supernatural’ album is companion to McVittie’s illustrated folklore anthology ‘A Way with the Fairies’, a richly woven literary collection exploring Irish fairy lore alongside mythic tales from across Europe. Together, the book and album form a unified creative world in which the supernatural is not distant fantasy, but something embedded in daily life – felt in the fields, the hearth, the music, and the land itself.

Produced by Thomas Gandey, the album draws directly from the stories in ‘A Way with the Fairies’, with the track list mirroring the order of tales in the book. Each piece is a sonic reimagining of a myth, poem or folk narrative brought into the present through McVittie’s distinctive blend of traditional and electronic elements.

Popsinger-songwriter Julia Sommerfield has released her new single, “As I Am,” an honest pop ballad about the moments between rejection and acceptance and how we learn to find unconditional love in our lives. Enchanting vocals and soft guitar strums lure in listeners before diving deep into the hurt behind disappointment and feeling like you’ve fallen short. “As I Am” is now available to stream and download worldwide.

“As I Am” explores the longing to be loved and accepted for who you are. Through Julia Sommerfield’s tender lyricism, the song moves from quiet honesty to a powerful admission that confronts dismissal head-on. “I wrote this song during a period of heavy rejection in my life,” explains Sommerfield. “It’s about rejection and wanting to feel accepted. I think that it is such a universal experience where people feel like they just want to be loved for who they are.” Giving a voice to that ache of wanting to be fully embodied in your authenticity, she remarks, “Take me as I am. Nothing more, nothing less. Don’t ask me to be anything I am not, because this is who I am.” Her emotions drip down verse by verse, before exploding into a cathartic wave, meant to be heard and felt deeply. At its core, the song’s lyrics demand a clear request: “Take me as I am. No compromises. Take me as I stand. No turning your back on me.” As the song continues, it invokes a sense of urgency, moving listeners with a surprise crescendo from a soulful strum to an increasingly desperate plea to feel understood. Produced by Brian Squillace, “As I Am” takes fans on a musical and emotional journey that leaves them in a moment of pure release.

Toronto-based duo MOONRIIVR return with “Lady Of The Lake,” a moody, indie single that blends slow-motion surf rock with mournful saxophones and haunting guitar textures. Exploring emotional stagnation and moving forward, the track is the latest offering from their forthcoming sophomore album, expected in early 2027.

The song began with a musical foundation written by Champagne James Robertson, which immediately resonated with bandmate Gavin Gardiner. As Gardiner developed the melodies and lyrics, he drew from a period of feeling emotionally stuck, turning the song into a personal reminder that new experiences and challenges still lie ahead.

“I was feeling very stuck in one place at the time emotionally so this song was a bit of a call to arms for myself,” Gardiner explains. “Realizing there’s still a world out there and that there are new challenges to face and finding beauty in that.”
