Canadian singer/songwriter Olivia Lunny returns with her second release of the year entitled ‘WonderLand’. Olivia Lunny has quickly become one of our favourite artists, and after listening to this it’s not hard to see why.

The shimmering new single is another brilliantly crafted, breezy alt-pop track which sees Olivia deliver a song with an emotional punch. It honors the moment and allure of a youthful relationship, living in the moment and shutting out the rest of the world.

Olivia explains, “‘Wonderland’ is an anthem about being present in the moment so you can chase your wildest dreams. After stumbling upon a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory rerun, I was inspired by the childlike magic I felt, and it sparked the theme for this song. ‘Wonderland’ is the feeling when the stars align!”

rising pop star Madison Beer releases her latest single “Showed Me (How I Fell In Love With You),” which premiered on BBC’s Radio 1 yesterday. “Showed Me” is the most recent track to come from Madison’s forthcoming project, the follow up to her smash debut Life Support. The official video for “Showed Me” also makes its debut today with a premiere on MTV.

The provocative throwback visual for “Showed Me” finds her in the role of a true femme fatale. With looks from LaQuan Smith, Balenciaga, and Tom Ford’s Gucci, the video sees Madison taking back power from an unsuspecting playboy. The swaggering single, co-written by Madison, and video usher in a new era for the artist, one that sees her expanding her sonic boundaries and creative vision.

“Writing and making the video for ‘Showed Me’ was a really unique experience,” explains Madison. “This song samples The Turtles ‘You Showed Me.’ I’ve never used sampling or interpolation on a song before, but I’m always looking for new ways to experiment in the studio and pay homage to the classic sounds and melodies I loved growing up. This song is the perfect culmination of those things.”

Rising Swedish pop act shy martin (Sara Hjellström) has today revealed her brand-new single “wish I didn’t know you, as well as the track’s accompanying official video. Directed by shy herself, alongside her brother Hampus Hjellström near their hometown in south Sweden, viewers see shy surrounded by striking, isolated scenery – mourning and then laying to rest the artifacts of a past relationship.

“wish I didn’t know you” is the first new music shy has released since her 2021 singles “No Regrets” and “Feelings”, the latter of which saw The Line of Best Fit describe shy as “one of pop’s brightest stars.” shy has an esteemed career as a songwriter, having previously written tracks for the likes of The Chainsmokers, Ellie Goulding, Bebe Rexha and Astrid S that have seen her amass more than 3 billion streams on Spotify alone. Now though, shy is totally focused on writing music for herself, with “wish I didn’t know you” being the first in a series of new releases expected in the coming months.

On the opening of this new chapter, shy said, “I’ve spent the last year and a half only focusing on my own music and on creating a safe creative space for myself. Luckily my brother pushed me to go back to how I first started writing – on my bed, on the guitar, about whatever I’m really feeling or going through at the moment.” She continues, “Writing these upcoming songs has been super important to me in a therapeutic way and I don’t think I’ve ever found more comfort in writing than I did last year. I’ve intentionally stayed in my own bubble to create more honest music that I can’t wait to share!”

Singer-Songwriter-Producer, Wonho, has released his highly anticipated 2nd Single Album, Bittersweet. Consisting of 2 tracks, Wonho participated in writing, composing, and producing both the lead track “Don’t Regret” and b-side “On & On” (Feat. YUNHWAY)Bittersweet comes four months after Wonho’s third mini album FACADE, which Rolling Stone praised saying “The mood shifts from euphoric to introspective with ease, proving once again that Wonho is one of the most versatile and compelling voices in K-pop today.”

Lead track “Don’t Regret” expresses two contrasting moods and shares Wonho’s message that we should not be regretful of our past memories, but realize that they have left beautiful traces to create the moment we have now. The song’s lyrics express the doubt, misunderstanding and waiting involved when loving someone. It’s dedicated to those who have no regrets when it comes to love, including Wonho himself. The music video metaphorically shows the emotional stages of a breakup, while taking the viewer on an emotional rollercoaster of the anger, bargaining, depression and finally acceptance stages.

Currently in the spotlight of the Korean hip hop scene and known for her unique vocal tone; the blending of YUNHWAY and Wonho’s vocals seamlessly brings together the dreamy mood of the song. Overall, Bittersweet showcases Wonho’s honesty as he expresses a variety of emotions that are bitter yet sweet, exciting yet depressing. The main purpose behind this album is Wonho’s message of gratitude to WENEE (Wonho’s official fandom), and a reminder that he will always be with them.
