The world of Hannah Montana is making a special comeback to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Disney has announced that a commemorative Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary special will premiere on Disney+ starting March 24, 2026. The event will be filmed live in front of an audience and will include an exclusive, in-depth interview with Miley Cyrus, hosted by Alex Cooper. This interview will explore the show’s history and feature rare archival footage from the series.

Debuting in 2006, Hannah Montana starred Miley Cyrus, Emily Osment, Mitchel Musso, Jason Earles, and Billy Ray Cyrus. The series followed Miley Stewart, a teenage girl leading a double life as the pop superstar Hannah Montana. During its run on Disney Channel, the show achieved tremendous success, earning Emmy nominations, and producing 14 platinum and 18 gold albums worldwide, along with two feature films.
