Searchlight Pictures has dropped the first trailer for Super Troopers 3, the newest chapter in the beloved cult comedy franchise. The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on August 7.
All members of the Broken Lizard — Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske — are back for the third installment. Staying true to the earlier films, the story once again centers on a group of mischievous Vermont state troopers known for their outrageous pranks and offbeat law enforcement antics. Brian Cox also reprises his role as the tough-but-hilarious Police Captain O’Hagan.
Joining the returning cast are Nat Faxon, who plays Captain Todd Markowski; Chace Crawford as Baker Buchanan; and Andrew Dismukes as Coy Burns, rounding out the ensemble for the latest outing in the long-running comedy series.
